Chapter 24 - FUTURE TRAVEL (II) 24

As Qing made his way back into the underground subway, his heart began to race. He couldn't believe that he was feeling afraid. He had faced countless foes in his time as an Archmage and had battled against powerful gods. So why was he feeling so scared now?

Perhaps it was because he had no idea what to expect down here. He had already encountered mutated goblins, but who knew what else lurked in the depths of the subway? There could be all sorts of creatures down here, and Qing had no way of knowing what they were capable of.

But he refused to let his fear hold him back. He was here for a reason, after all. He needed to find out what he could about the world 10,000 years in the future, and the treasures that lay buried beneath the ground could hold the key to that knowledge.

Qing activated his Spacetime Power: Future Viewing, scanning the area for any potential threats. He could see multiple possible futures playing out before his eyes, but he quickly identified the path that would lead him to his goal. He followed the path, moving quickly and silently through the tunnels.

As he went deeper into the subway, he could see more signs of life. There were makeshift shelters set up in some of the tunnels, and he could hear the sounds of voices echoing off the walls. Qing paused, listening intently. He could hear the sound of footsteps approaching.

Without hesitation, he raised his Mana-Infused Assault Rifle and took aim. The footsteps grew louder, and soon a group of armed mercenaries came into view. They were heavily armed, but Qing wasn't worried. He had fought against mercenaries before and knew how to take them down.

"Who the hell are you?" one of the mercenaries shouted, his gun pointed directly at Qing.

"I'm just passing through," Qing replied calmly, his own gun still trained on the mercenaries. "I'm looking for something."

"What are you looking for?" another mercenary demanded.

"Answers," Qing said simply. "Answers about what happened to the world in the future."

The mercenaries exchanged a quick glance before bursting into laughter. "You think you're gonna find answers down here?" one of them sneered. "You're crazy."

Qing said nothing, but he kept his gun trained on the mercenaries. He knew that they weren't going to let him pass without a fight. But he was ready for that. He had his Spacetime CQC, which allowed him to move quickly and efficiently in combat, and his Future Viewing power to anticipate his enemies' moves.

The mercenaries charged forward, their guns blazing. Qing ducked and weaved, dodging their bullets with ease. He fired back, his Mana-Infused bullets punching through the mercenaries' armor and taking them down one by one.

It was a short and brutal battle, but Qing emerged victorious. He moved on, deeper into the subway tunnels, his mind focused on the treasure that lay ahead.

As he moved through the tunnels, he came across all sorts of strange and wondrous things. There were artifacts and relics from a bygone era, some of them still functional despite their age. There were ancient tomes filled with knowledge that had long been forgotten, and strange machines that he couldn't even begin to understand.

Qing felt a thrill of excitement as he explored, his mind racing with all the possibilities of what he could discover here. But he also felt a sense of unease. The world 10,000 years in the future was a dark and dangerous place, and he couldn't help but wonder what kind of horrors awaited him beyond the walls of this subway station.

But he refused to let his fear hold him back. He was here for a reason, and he was determined to see it through to the end. Qing tightened his grip on his rifle and started to make his way deeper into the subway tunnels.

As he moved deeper, the tunnel began to narrow and twist, and he found himself facing off against all manner of grotesque creatures. There were giant spiders with eyes as big as saucers, writhing tentacled monsters, and twisted, mutated creatures that defied description.

Qing's Spacetime Power: Future Viewing proved to be an invaluable tool in this hostile environment, allowing him to anticipate the movements of his enemies and react with deadly precision. His Mana-Infused Armor Piercing Bullets ripped through armor and flesh alike, and his Spacetime CQC allowed him to move with lightning-fast speed and agility, dodging attacks and striking back with lethal force.

But despite his incredible skill and power, the creatures kept coming. Wave after wave of monsters, each one more twisted and terrifying than the last, assailed him at every turn. Qing fought with everything he had, his muscles burning with exertion and his mind racing to keep up with the chaotic dance of battle.

Hours passed, and still, the tunnel seemed to stretch on endlessly, each new turn revealing yet more horrors to be faced. Qing was exhausted, his body aching with the strain of constant combat, and yet he refused to give up. He had come too far to turn back now.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of fighting, he emerged into a vast underground chamber. The room was filled with treasures beyond imagining, a glittering hoard of priceless artifacts and ancient relics.

Qing gazed around in awe, his eyes taking in the incredible sight. He could feel the weight of centuries of history in the air around him, and for a moment he forgot about the danger he was in.

But it was not to last. As he moved deeper into the room, he felt a sudden chill run down his spine. Something was watching him, and he could feel the malevolent presence growing stronger with every step he took.

Qing spun around, his rifle at the ready, just in time to see a massive creature lurching towards him. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before, a monstrous fusion of flesh and metal that towered over him, its eyes glowing with a sickly green light.

Qing felt a moment of fear, but he quickly pushed it aside. He knew that he couldn't back down now, not after coming so far. He took a deep breath and charged forward, his rifle flashing in the dim light.

The battle was long and grueling. The creature was incredibly strong and resilient, and it seemed to be able to shrug off most of Qing's attacks. But still, he fought on, his mind racing as he searched for a way to defeat the monster.

And then, finally, it happened. Qing saw a weakness in the creature's armor, a small gap where it seemed to be more vulnerable. He took aim and fired, his Mana-Infused Armor Piercing Bullet striking true and shattering the creature's defenses.

With a mighty roar, the creature crumpled to the ground, its glowing eyes dimming and its twisted form growing still. Qing stood panting, his chest heaving with exertion as he gazed around at the treasure-filled room.

He had done it. He had faced down the horrors of the future and emerged victorious. And now, with the secrets of the past at his fingertips, he was ready to claim his prize.

As Qing Eena finished packing all the treasures into his Secret Dimension, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him. He had found what he was looking for, and now he could return home to his time and analyze the data he had obtained.

Before he left, Qing carefully set up a Mana Barrier around the treasures to prevent anyone from accidentally stumbling upon them. He knew that even his farm animals could be curious and wander too close, so he made sure to warn them as well.

"Listen, my dear pets," Qing said to the animals gathered around him. "I have found some very dangerous things here. I need you all to stay away from this area and avoid any contact with the treasures until I can properly classify them."

The animals looked up at him with worried expressions, but they nodded in agreement. They trusted Qing, and they knew that he would always keep them safe.

Qing patted each of them on the head before turning to leave. As he walked away, he couldn't help but think about the data he had found on the state of the Earth in 10,000 years. It was grim, to say the least.

He had read about the Great Cataclysm that had occurred centuries ago, which had plunged the world into chaos. The oceans had risen, swallowing entire cities and leaving only desolate wastelands behind. The sky was perpetually covered in a thick, choking fog, and the few surviving humans lived in small, isolated communities, struggling to eke out a living.

Qing knew that this was not the future he wanted for his world. He was determined to find a way to prevent this cataclysm from ever happening, but he knew that it would be a difficult and dangerous task.

As he walked out of the secret dimension and through the subway station, he couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. He knew that there were still dangers lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike.

Suddenly, he heard a loud growling noise from behind him. He spun around, raising his assault rifle in a split second, ready to fire. But what he saw was not what he expected.

A large, hulking monster was standing before him, its eyes glowing with an unnatural red light. It was covered in thick, scaly armor, and its long, sharp claws glinted in the dim light.

Qing took a step back, but he refused to let fear take hold of him. He aimed his rifle at the creature and prepared to fire, using his Spacetime Power: Future Viewing to predict its movements and make countermeasures.

The creature charged at him with incredible speed, but Qing was ready. He dodged to the side and fired a burst of mana-infused bullets, aiming for the weak spots in its armor.

The bullets struck true, and the creature let out a deafening roar of pain. It stumbled back, giving Qing enough time to reload his rifle and take aim once more.

He fired another burst of bullets, and this time, the creature fell to the ground, motionless.

Breathing heavily, Qing looked around the subway station. He knew that there were more dangers lurking in the shadows, waiting to attack him. But he also knew that he was ready to face whatever lay ahead.

With his weapons at the ready and his Spacetime Power: Future Viewing guiding his every move, Qing stepped forward into the darkness, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

Qing Eena sat in his in his secret dimension, now back to his own time period, once he took care about the treasures and got the data he needed. Now he is contemplating about what he had discovered about the state of the world in the future. It was clear that humanity had become complacent, neglecting their duty to clear the ancient spires that dotted the landscape. These towering structures were the source of all the world's problems, the breeding ground for the monsters that terrorized the population.

Qing knew that the spires needed to be cleared, that it was the only way to ensure the safety and security of the people he cared about. But he also knew that he couldn't do it alone. He needed to get the message out, to make people understand the importance of clearing the spires before it was too late.

He began to upload the data he had gathered to the world wide internet, hoping that someone would take notice. As he worked, he couldn't help but think about the Hunters and the dungeons they frequented.

"Dungeons are just training wheels for the Hunters," he muttered to himself. "They think they're prepared for the worst, but they have no idea what's lurking inside those spires."

Qing knew firsthand the dangers of the spires, having faced countless horrors within their walls. He also knew that most Hunters preferred the relative safety of the dungeons, choosing them over the more dangerous and unpredictable spires.

"But that's not good enough," he said, shaking his head. "We need to clear the spires, or we'll never be truly safe."

As he continued to work, Qing couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration and anger towards those who refused to listen. "Fuck those idiots," he muttered. "I don't care about them. I only care about the people I hold dear."

It was true. Qing had always been fiercely protective of those he cared about, willing to go to any lengths to keep them safe. He knew that clearing the spires was the only way to ensure their safety, and he was willing to do whatever it took to make it happen.

But he also knew that he couldn't do it alone. He needed allies, people who were willing to fight alongside him to clear the spires and rid the world of the monsters that threatened their existence.

As he finished uploading the data, Qing sat back in his chair, deep in thought. He knew that there was still much work to be done, but for now, he was content in the knowledge that he had done all he could to get the message out.

The world was a dangerous and unpredictable place, but Qing was determined to do everything in his power to keep the people he cared about safe. And he knew that with enough determination and a little bit of luck, he just might succeed.
