Chapter 29 - DISTURBANCE 29

The public market was bustling with activity, as usual, when suddenly a bright blue light appeared out of nowhere. The light grew brighter and brighter until it became blinding. The shoppers and vendors in the market were forced to shield their eyes and look away.

When the light finally dissipated, a dungeon portal stood in its place. The portal was large enough to fit a small vehicle, and it emanated a sense of danger that sent shivers down the spines of those who saw it.

Qing Eena was in his restored car, driving around town when he saw the blue light. He immediately recognized it for what it was and knew he had to act fast. He dialed his Uncle Tito's number and instructed him to pick up his parents from their Eena Fish Stall and bring them back to the safety of their house.

Qing also instructed Juan and Frye, the ones on duty at the fish stall, to pack everything up in a hurry and go with his parents back to the house and protect them. He then called on his fellow hunters, Toon, Fau, and Trey, and ordered them to gear up their armor and weapons. They would join the emergency call from the Hunter Association to assist in disposing of Ogres coming out of the dungeon portal.

As Qing drove towards the portal, he could see that other hunters had already arrived on the scene. They were busy fending off the Ogres that had emerged from the portal. The Ogres were massive, towering over the hunters, with muscles bulging beneath their green skin. They wielded crude weapons like clubs and axes, and their eyes glowed with a fierce intelligence.

Qing joined the fray, his restored car careening towards the Ogres. The car may have been a fossil-fueled vehicle, but it had been restored using Qing's spacetime powers, making it faster and more agile than any mana-powered vehicle on the road. The car plowed into the Ogres, sending them flying in all directions.

The other hunters noticed Qing's arrival and welcomed him with a nod. "Glad you could make it," one of them said.

Qing nodded back, "I wouldn't miss it for the world. These Ogres are no match for us."

The battle raged on, and Qing and the other hunters fought with all their might. The Ogres were relentless, but the hunters were determined to protect the town from their invasion. One by one, the Ogres fell, until finally, the last of them was vanquished.

Qing Eena and the other Hunters had successfully dealt with the Ogres that had emerged from the portal, but they were not out of the woods yet. The portal still remained open, and it was their duty to enter the dungeon and eliminate any remaining monsters until they reached the final boss, the Ogre Lord.

Qing Eena knew that this was going to be a dangerous operation. Even though the dungeon was only ranked C, there was no telling what kind of monsters they would encounter inside. He called a meeting with the other Hunters to discuss their strategy.

"We need to be careful," Qing Eena said, looking around at the group. "The portal is still open, and there could be more monsters inside. We need to be prepared for anything."

"I agree," said Uncle Tito. "We should gear up and make sure we have everything we need before we go in."

Juan, Frye, Toon, Fau, and Trey all nodded in agreement. They knew that this was not going to be an easy mission, but they were determined to see it through.

Qing Eena and the other Hunters put on their armor and grabbed their weapons. They made their way towards the dungeon entrance, taking caution with every step they took. They knew that any wrong move could mean the end for them.

As they entered the dungeon, they were immediately met with a wave of monsters. Goblins, trolls, and other creatures of the like rushed towards them, and the Hunters quickly engaged them in battle.

Qing Eena and Uncle Tito worked together to take down a particularly large troll that was blocking their path. Meanwhile, Juan and Frye worked together to take out a group of goblins that were attacking from the side. Toon, Fau, and Trey covered their backs, fending off any monsters that tried to sneak up on them.

Despite the overwhelming number of monsters, the Hunters managed to hold their own. They fought their way deeper into the dungeon, taking down anything that stood in their way. As they progressed, the monsters grew stronger, and the battles became more intense.

Qing Eena knew that they were getting closer to the final boss. He could feel it in his bones. He called for a quick break so they could rest and regroup.

"We're getting close," Qing Eena said, wiping sweat from his forehead. "The Ogre Lord is just up ahead. We need to be ready for anything."

The other Hunters nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. They knew that this was their chance to take down the boss and close the portal for good.

With renewed energy, the Hunters pressed on. They fought their way through more monsters until they reached the final chamber. And there, standing before them, was the Ogre Lord.

The Ogre Lord was a massive creature, towering over them with its massive frame. Its eyes glowed red with anger, and its muscles bulged with power.

Qing Eena and the other Hunters prepared for battle. They knew that this was going to be their toughest fight yet.

The battle was intense. The Ogre Lord was strong, and it fought with everything it had. But Qing Eena and the other Hunters were not deterred. They fought with all their might, pushing themselves to the limit.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the Ogre Lord fell to the ground with a resounding thud. The portal flickered and disappeared, signaling the end of the dungeon.

Qing Eena and the other Hunters let out a sigh of relief. They had done it. They had successfully completed the Dungeon Diving Operation and taken down the Ogre Lord.

With the Ogre Lord defeated and the dungeon cleared, the group of Hunters began their loot collection. Qing Eena, Juan, Toon, Trey, Fau, and Frye all gathered around the giant beast's body, weapons at the ready in case any other monsters decided to make an appearance.

"Alright, let's get this done quickly," Qing said, looking around at the other Hunters. "We need to make sure that everyone gets their fair share of the loot."

Juan nodded in agreement. "I agree. It's only fair that we divide everything equally among us. We all worked hard to take down the Ogre Lord."

Toon chimed in, "I also agree. We all risked our lives for this, and we all deserve a piece of the pie."

Trey nodded in approval, "Yeah, we all put in the work, so we should all get something out of it."

Fau added, "I think it's only fair that we distribute the loot based on the contribution each of us made during the fight. That way, everyone gets what they deserve."

Frye nodded in agreement, "I think that's a good idea. It's important to recognize the contributions each of us made."

Qing Eena thought for a moment before speaking, "Alright, I think we can do that. We'll divide everything up based on how much each of us contributed during the fight. That way, everyone gets a fair share."

The group set to work, gathering all of the loot and distributing it among themselves. They went through each item one by one, discussing who should get what based on their contributions to the fight. It was a long process, but eventually, everything was divided up fairly.

As they finished the last of the loot distribution, Qing Eena let out a sigh of relief. "Phew, that was a lot of work, but I think we did a good job dividing everything up fairly."

Juan nodded in agreement, "I think so too. It was a good call to distribute it based on contributions."

Toon added, "Yeah, and it shows that we can work together and trust each other to do the right thing."

Trey chimed in, "Definitely. We all have each other's backs, and we're all in this together."

Fau spoke up, "I'm just glad we were able to take down the Ogre Lord without any casualties. We're lucky it was only a C-rank dungeon."

Frye nodded in agreement, "Yeah, if it had been any higher, we might not have been so lucky."

Qing Eena looked around at his fellow Hunters, feeling a sense of camaraderie and pride in their teamwork. "Well, we did it. Another successful mission. Let's head back to town and celebrate."

The group all agreed and began to make their way out of the dungeon, their bags full of loot and their spirits high. They had faced danger together, and emerged victorious. They were a team, and nothing could stop them.

The portal closed with a loud boom, and the hunters let out a collective sigh of relief. They had done it. They had protected their town from the dungeon portal's invasion.

Qing checked on his fellow hunters to make sure they were all right. They all nodded in confirmation. "Good work, everyone," Qing said. "Let's head back to town and celebrate."

As they made their way back to the public market, Qing couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. He was proud of his fellow hunters, proud of his restored car, and most of all, proud of his family's business. They had survived another threat to their livelihood, and he knew that they would continue to do so, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

The news of the successful closure of the dungeon portal in their barangay had spread like wildfire, catching the attention of various news channels, vloggers, influencers, and local celebrities. Everyone wanted to get in on the hype and be associated with the local heroes who had saved their community from the threat of monsters.

Qing Eena, who had played a crucial role in the operation, was at the center of attention. He was inundated with interview requests, picture takings, and selfie requests. As soon as they emerged from the dungeon, the media was waiting for them, cameras flashing, microphones shoved in their faces.

"How does it feel to be hailed as heroes in your community?" one reporter asked, shoving a microphone in Qing's face.

"I'm just happy that we were able to do our part in keeping our community safe," Qing replied with a grin.

Another reporter chimed in, "Can you tell us about the experience of fighting off those monsters?"

"It was definitely a challenge," Juan, one of the other hunters, chimed in. "But we were well-prepared and had a solid plan going in."

The media frenzy continued as they made their way back to their community, with people clamoring for interviews, pictures, and autographs. Even local celebrities had taken notice of their heroic deeds and were eager to meet them.

Qing was like a kid in a candy store, soaking up all the attention and enjoying every moment of it. He knew that this was an opportunity to promote not just himself but also his family's business, the Eena Fish Stall and Grocery.

During one of the interviews, the reporter asked Qing about his family's business, and he seized the opportunity to give it a shameless plug.

"My family owns the Eena Fish Stall and Grocery," he said, flashing a grin at the camera. "We sell the freshest seafood in town, and we've recently expanded our offerings to include other grocery items. I'd like to invite everyone to come check us out!"

The media attention continued for several days, with news channels running special segments on the dungeon portal incident and vloggers and influencers posting about it on social media. The Eena family business was also getting its fair share of attention, with people flocking to the fish stall and grocery to sample their products.

Qing was grateful for the exposure, knowing that it would help their business grow. He made sure to thank his parents and his five "siblings" for their support during the operation and for running the family business.

"I couldn't have done any of this without my family," he said during one of the interviews. "They've always been my biggest supporters, and I'm just glad that I was able to make them proud."

As the media frenzy began to die down, Qing was left with a sense of accomplishment and pride. He had not only helped keep his community safe but had also brought attention to his family's business. And he knew that he had done it all with the help of his trusted companions - Juan, Toon, Trey, Fau, and Frye - who had become like family to him.

"We make a great team," he said to them with a grin. "And I know that we'll always be there for each other, no matter what challenges we face."
