Mattheo's POV
We woke up around 9 in the morning when I realized that I had an important video conference with Maxwell Industries. It was 8 and I had exactly an hour to get ready. Lizzie was still asleep and I didn't want to wake her up for she looked so peaceful and calm while sleeping. She had a long and tiring week and she deserved this rest.
I crept out of the bed noiselessly as I could, without disturbing her, and headed towards the bathroom to get ready. After a nice and relaxing shower, I got out and headed towards the closet. Seems like my miss sunshine was still asleep. I took out my best suit and got dressed. Alex was already awake and ready. He was eating waffles with y-yogurt? That's gross actually.
"Heh Mawn, uo upp ?" He blabbered with a full mouth. It took me a while to comprehend that he said Hey Man, you up?
"Yes, and would you please now finish up your food? We need to also go through the meeting notes before it starts. And we have exactly 20 minutes."
"Sure, Don't worry...I will manage" He managed to say it clearly this time. Thank God! I was tired from translating his words and this wasn't the first time he's always like this while eating except when he is outside on a date or in a meeting.
I ordered a fruit salad with all my favorite fruits in it. And as I predicted in my mind, Alex wasn't done eating until 10 minutes. In the next 10 minutes, we prepared the meeting details, revised the presentation, and logged in. It went on for an hour and Lizzie was still asleep, my poor baby girl was so tired. I took off my waistcoat and rolled up my sleeves before going into her room to wake her up. She was sleeping so peacefully, I didn't want to wake her up but it was 12 already and I had something special planned for her. So I kissed her soft plump lips which eventually woke her up and as soon as she saw me, she smiled her pretty smile which made me grin. She was adorable my god.
At 1, we headed out for brunch at a pretty expensive restaurant. She wore a nice dress (photo above) while I was in my morning clothes only. Alex stayed back because he was feeling tired but I know he just wanted to give me and Liz some space.
We ate and then went to the Eiffel tower. She was blindfolded so she didn't know really...but I lead her on. I had booked the top floor of the tower for us only today evening. We went up the elevator and I made her stand in the center before I went on one knee.
"Take off your blindfold sweetheart"
"Will you, Elizabeth Kirrin, be my girlfriend for the time to come and then be my wife?"
"Awwww, Theo.....this is so sweet" she cooed.
"Yes or No?"
"YES YES YES !"
I stood up for she came running towards me as I lifted her up in the air by her waist and kissed her passionately. I loved her so much.
"But weren't we already dating?"
"We were baby, but unofficially...I will release it in the media that the talented, super-hot, hardworking, sexy bachelor Mattheo Grey is off the market for he has a girlfriend now who he will marry one day" I said with a wink.
She blushed and said, "don't take my description and put it as yours". God, this girl, and her cheeky comments would always be there...in my life and I'm not complaining.
She wore my promise ring and we stood there for i can't recall how much time, and admired the view. It was cold on the top, so she wore my coat. It was heaven, the feeling, the moment, and everything.
I really want her.....
