*1 year later*
{Mattheo and Elizabeth are still going strong and yes he hasn't proposed yet.}
Mattheo's POV
It was 11 am and I was heading toward Liz's house to surprise her. Today is our 1 year anniversary and I bought her flowers and made a customized gift. I saw her car parked in the driveway as I made my way through the pavement of her well-maintained mansion here in Countryside Pennsylvania which was surrounded by the lavender haz- no, well-trimmed bushes.
I knocked twice before her brother came to greet me.
"Mattheo what a pleasure to see you..." he grinned.
"Likewise Edward. Have you um- got it all done?"
"Of course brother, everything's done and she's upstairs."
"Right, thank you, man"
"No problem, hope it goes all too well"
"It will" i answered with a small smile playing on my lips.
"Hmm go on then, and see your beloved, and hey no naughty business here I seriously don't wanna hear those sounds, like- uh never mind you get it" he warned, still smiling.
"Sure thing sir, no naughty business at all" we laughed and parted ways.
I went up the stairs and her door was slightly ajar, I peeked in to see her sitting on her bed writing something. She then abruptly stood up, dropped her journal on the bed, and wore her cardigan before coming near the door. I stood with the wall, and she opened the door, came out, and turned left without even noticing me. I swiftly and quietly switched off the lights in her room as I followed her and covered her mouth with my hand. She freaked out but didn't shout. I carried her to her room and shut the door. I used my best scary deep voice when I said "don't dare to shout".
She whimpered and nodded. I stood next to the bed and took off my coat and vest coat before locking the door. She was still huddled up on her bed. Taking off my shoes and socks, I grabbed her ankles, straightened her legs, and sat over her. My gift was on her couch and I had no intention of giving her that anytime soon. I took off her cardigan and threw it on the ground, she had a black full-sleeve t-shirt on which I took off and put on her eyes. I handcuffed her hands and my other one caressed her as she whined and said "don't, please don't do this, please". Seems like she still considered me as some dangerous unknown man.
I smirked and said in my normal voice "fine, I won't if you don't want me to Liz"
Her eyes widened and she visibly tensed as she sighed and said "I should've known".
I saw her face as the sunlight illuminated the room in streaks through the curtain gaps. She was beautiful, and all mine.
I smiled and kissed her. God, I missed those soft, plump lips. It was a week since we met since I had gone to Germany for a very important business meeting while she was managing her father's PR company and attending conferences. She had managed to keep her PR company at the top as she put her heart and soul into it. We both worked hard and still managed to take out time for ourselves.
I put my head on her chest as she put her hands through my hair. We both lay in comfortable silence.
"Love, I have something for uh you," I said breaking the silence.
She smiled and asked, "what is it?"
"You wanna see?"
"For Sure yes"
I switched on her bedside lamp and took the gift from the couch as i sat next to her.
"Happy 1 year anniversary my love"
"Awwww, Theo! This is so sweet, I can't believe that you made this for me?" she cooed.
I had all her favorite flowers put in a bouquet and made her an album with all our photos, polaroids, & letters with dates and a small note below everything. I was planning to make something like this for the past 1 month and had asked every living relative of ours to send me all pictures they had of us.
"It's all for you love, now uh can you come down?" I said while playing with my hands.
"Yes, okay let's go"
I took her hand and lead her downstairs. We went towards the garden but i stopped before opening the backdoor as i put on a silk blindfold on her eyes. She gasped but said nothing. I took her in my arms and walked forward until i reached the spot.
(this is what the garden was decorated like, not exactly like this but similar....just imagine it as smth extravagant and royal with mansion backyard vibes.)
Her siblings and sister-in-law had helped me organize a small get-together anniversary party. Our Parents, siblings and close relatives, and friends are all gonna be here very soon. We thought we would all eat, talk and have fun together especially since we all haven't met each other for so long since her father underwent Lasik surgery and her sister-in-law had a baby girl who they named Mabel.
I let the blindfold down as her curious eyes took it all in and she turned and gave me a look that told me all that she felt. Appreciation, Love, Gratitude, Happiness. We were conversing without words when she took me by surprise and kissed me. My hands snaked around her waist and her's face cupped my face. This kiss was long, hard, and passionate filled with so much love. I would've loved to continue it if she hadn't run out of breadth. She broke away still our foreheads touching others and her hands went from my cheeks to my chest. We heard someone clear their throat from behind when she took a step back and looked down as if shy.
I just smirked and pulled her against me to find Alex and Ben grinning down at us.
She broke away and went past them ruining Alex's hair and saying "such jerks". She did that on purpose knowing Alex hated if someone touched his setback hair.
"Mannn, that girl...." Alex groaned in irritation.
"You deserved that, you interrupted their little getaway kiss and I was enjoying the little romantic's scene, like come on Alex you don't do that to a couple," Ben said laughing.
"Huh- I mean yes sorry man but she just fucking ruined my hairstyle, it took me 43.46 minutes to style it properly." he rolled his eyes which indicated that he was pissed.
"Right, wait- did you say 43.46 mins? How do you even remember such a precise shit?" I asked.
"Uh let us just say makeup to girls is just like hairstyle and fashion to me," he answered.
"Whatever you say, young man, should we then?" Ben said.
"Yes, let's put on the music and invite all out, it's not so sunny for a summer day though."
"Yep, I will go in and get all the delicious scrumptious food then," Alex said with a huge grin. That guy loved food, hair styling, his job, and fashion.
"God, sure you do that and till then I will invite the others, Ben? you know what to do" I said.
"Yeah yeah I know, don't worry"
With that, we all went to do our tasks. I saw the gathering chatting in the lobby. I motioned them to come on outside.
Slowly people started to pile in and our friends, Ben, Alex, Luxory, and Taylor, Our Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kirrin, and My parents, Tom, Alexa, Harry, Edward, Kate, Mabel, Charlotte, Kyle, Atlas, Lilly, and us.
(Edward and Kate are Liz's brother and sister-in-law and Mabel is her newborn niece;
Tom and Alexa are Mattheo's brother and sister-in-law and Harry is his nephew;
Charlotte is Liz's elder sister and Kyle is dating her;
Lilly is Theo's elder sister and she's dating Atlas)
It was fun, and we all got to know each other even better. The kids were busy playing with Liz and Lux. It was adorable and made me think how good it would feel to have kids of our own and Liz having fun with them.
I loved seeing her happy and I would do anything to keep that smile and grin on her face. While the elders(Their parents and elder siblings) chatted away, we six (Theo, Al, Ben, Liz, Lux, and Tay) played, teased, talked, and had fun with the kids and selves. It felt good to take a break from all the city havoc. Soon enough the women went in the kitchen followed by Alex to get all the food out. We had decided on making a thing each. Like Liz and I had made lasagna. Our parents decided to make plum cakes and pies. Lux and Ben had made Casseroles. Alex and Tay had made fruit salad and juices. Our siblings had made the drinks and it went on.
All this felt so homely, lovely and family-like.
I just can't wait to get a family of my own.
Liz, I feel like marrying you now.....
