Elizabeth's POV
The get-together that Mattheo had arranged for our 1 year anniversary was fabulous, I loved it. It felt good to be together as a whole family. I played with the kids, and Lux was there with me too...I could see that she'll be a good mother someday.
I always loved thinking about how I would raise my kids if I had any. I would give them the freedom to read as many books as they want...but they would never enter my private library. I want 3 kids with my future husband, two boys, and one girl. I want my girl to be the middle child or youngest child while her elder brothers look over my princess. But no matter who my middle child will be, he or she will not be forgotten.
After the get-together, I helped Mattheo clean up the backyard while others dropped in here and there to assist us. Soon enough, we were done with packing up as we kept everything in their designated places. Our Family members started leaving one by one and then in an hour or so, it was only me and Mattheo.
I went up to the kitchen to sort out the dishes and put the leftovers in the fridge. While I was cleaning the dishes, two arms snaked up my waist, I put down the plate I had in my soapy foam-covered hands and turned around to see Mattheo grinning at me as he lay his head on my chest getting comfortable.
"Theo, I am doing the dishes"
"Did I say otherwise or did I stop you?" he said with a cheeky smirk.
"No, but this," I said pointing towards our current position "is distracting"
"Who asked you to turn love? You could've done the dishes" he said grinning.
"You are such a-"
"Dipshit? Dumbass? Sexy man? Hottie? Your baby daddy?" he added with a wink.
"No, none of the above....but hmm maybe my man who is definitely a jerk?"
"You are so-" he started
"Hot? Sexy? Pretty? Ravishing? Lovely? Talented? Perfect? wait, don't say anything...i already know I am all of the above I listed" I winked.
"You are all of the above yes...but I am your lord my love" he chuckled.
"Get back to work 'hottie' " he said as he made his way out of the kitchen but not before spanking my ass.
"Dumbass" I muttered under my breath, smiling.
After doing the dishes, I made my way to the living room where I saw Mattheo texting someone, he put down the phone as soon as he heard my footsteps. Sus huh?
"Hey, babe, what do you wanna see today?"

"No- it's just soft porn I guess," I said smiling and shaking my head.
"It is...agreed" he laughed.
"Er- 10 things I hate about you?"
"Sure thing, Heath is absolutely perfect in that movie and I love Kat" I gushed.
"Hmm, okay so 10 things I hate about you it is"
We watched the first half of the movie as I put my head in Theo's lap. His one hand under me and another one on my waist as his thumb drew circles. I stood up, making my way to the kitchen to grab some snacks, I shout to him asking whether he wants Goldfish crackers or Kettles. He asks me to get whatever I want so I get both along with a small bottle of chilled soda each and make my way to the room when I see him immersed in something on his phone. I call out his name and he drops the phone as he makes his way toward me to help me out.
Something is definitely up.
I decide to not ask him or pry any further as we enjoy the movie. After 30 minutes, he gets up to go to the bathroom when I grab his phone.
Curiosity killed the cat.
I opened his messages, Instagram Chats, Facebook, Messengers, Whatsapp, and what not. All I see is either my name or Alex, Ben, and his group chat. If he is talking to them, why does he drop his phone or keep it aside everytime?
I keep his phone back and check my own notifications.
7 missed calls from Lux.

15 DM's on my Instagram.
10 messages from my co-workers.
23 messages from our family chat which had my mom, dad, brother, and sister in it.
What on Earth was going on?
I realized that Theo was back as the couch dipped in a bit beside me. He pressed his lips to my temple and brought his lips to my ear and said "Baby Girl, I and you are leaving for Paris tomorrow. Pack up all your stuff...don't forget the lingeries" he said and added a wink.
PARIS? TOMORROW?
I LITERALLY HAVE ONLY 10 HRS TO PACK.
In this one year of our relationship, we had traveled to many countries. Greece, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Australia, Maldives, Bali Bali in Indonesia, Singapore, Ukraine, Scandinavian countries, Switzerland, Austria, and Poland. I have been to most of them before but traveling them with him was an enchanting experience. When I visited these countries, it was only for business or work purposes but this time we discovered and saw all the tourist attractions.
And I also remember correctly that it has been one year since we went to Paris but now there's no point in saying no.
We finish the movie and the snacks while shedding a few tears here and there. After which, Theo decided to pack his stuff while I replied to all the messages.
It seemed like my co-workers got into a bit of a problem with my CFO as he threatened to fire them over some silly issue and misunderstanding over a lost tender and deal. I reassured them of their jobs as I talked to him and got the matter sorted. Then I opened my family chat to discover that Tom was having another child. That's why from 10 messages it went up to 100. I congratulated them both as my desire to have kids got even more spiked.
My friend's group chat was talking about how Taylor and Alex were going to make all things official since she was also pregnant. Never knew Alex would be such a cool player. Lux and Ben were on a break since Ben's dad passed away 11 months ago. They were still together until last month when his mom fell too ill. Lux was out of the country for a runway show in Milan and he had to rush back to his sick mother. Lux got the flight back there as soon as she could and was with him for a week before she was called back for her work. Ben didn't want her to compromise her work and career for him as he knew she loved doing what she did and that made her happy but our silly little lovely Lux was too busy thinking about leaving him alone with his mom, especially after what happened. They both got into a small fight before deciding to take a break, get their heads cleared, work and then talk and make up again.
So of course, we girls were pretty excited for Taylor and Alex. As I was scrolling through the chats, Lux's message popped up as she informed us of her and Ben getting back together. His mom was still in a fragile state but better now. I called Lux and talked to her for quite a while before I realized it was 2:30 in the morning and I had only 3 and a half hours to pack. We said our byes and I hung up informing our groups of my and Theo's little get-away.
I decided to answer my DM's while on the plane so that we won't get late. As I was packing Theo walks up from behind holding up my two fav black sexy lingeries and dropped them in my suitcase.
"Pack up nicely Love, and also your swim-wear" He whispered before he walked out and down to make something to eat for us.
This man will be the end of me and I can't help but agree.
After I am done packing, I walk down to the dining area and watch him cook. He had prepared Fried Bacon strips, with french toast and pancakes. He also got me my favorite Hazelnut Dolce Frappeciono from Starbucks. God, I love this man so much.
We talk as we eat about a million different things and I get to know something more about him every day. He told me that once he had walked up to a lady and asked her to call his mom as he was lost and then took out his mom's phone from his pocket to see her calling and said "Thanks for giving me your number lady, see you soon" and walked off. We laughed so hard at this. I could imagine a young Theo doing something like this.
"Your flirting skills....my gosh....are smooth"
"Thank you, love, no wonder I won you over so soon" he smirked.
"Asshole," I said grinning
"Only for you tho"
"Aww, I am honored," I said sarcastically.
"You should be"
"I am, honestly my lord"
"Good Girl"
He laughed and I loved the sound. It felt perfect. Surreal. Just too good to be true.
