Chapter 13 - WITHIN MY PASSION

"I want to go home," said the janitor who suddenly appeared from an exit on the side, to the deck where Felix, the five Chefs and Tsunami who had just appeared were.

While everyone startled immediately they heard a mascular voice, "it's the janitor!" Said one of the chefs and all of them hurried to meet him.

"What happened here janitor?" Felix asked aggressively.

"I want to go home too," tearing sorrowfully, Tsunami yearned on the side distracting then a little bit.

With his moods at the lowest, the grown-up janitor gave a brief description of the incident in fright; "She spent the night right up their at the peak," he pointed a finger, "I was watching when the flying enormous mammal transformed into a pretty young lady as it slept off after mercilessly taking the life of everybody. It's hard to believe but she's a monster, and a very dangerous one."

"You mean Babara Yen?" Felix asked.

"The beautiful young lady who has been standing right there at the edge watching the sun rise, having a country flag covering around her body; at a speed of light this early morning, I saw bodies and blood disappearing from everywhere on the floor. She magically did that."

"And how did you manage to survive?" The head chef asked.

"After cleaning the lavatory last night, I had to show up for dinner. But frightfully, things turned out differently from what I expected. It is always fun and life, but everwhere on the floor was blood. Everyone was already down lifeless. Suddenly, a loud wild like roar echoed from the sky and I became curious to see what it was. I smeared myself with blood which was scattered on the deck floor to disguise," in a deep old male voice, carefully in fright, the janitor narrated.

With their hearts racing in fear, looking at their faces covered with anxiety, the janitor went ahead to report, "on my toes I tipped in extreme fear, to avoid becoming a target of something I doing know. That was a moment the monster creature was landing at the highest peak right there to rest its muscles. I was watching it from a distance in that corner," he pointed.

As a young brother to the owner of the ship, multimillionare Franklin Baron, Felix couldn't wait to apologize, "I am deeply sorry for what had happened to all of us including everyone who is not here with us," with compassion in his voice, he looked so touched and miserable.

"Am worried about my wife and children back home, I need stay alive and see them again!" Thrown into a deep state of fear, one of the five chefs said.

All over the sudden, as Felix was about to speak, the young man, a servant who lost his twin brother to the deadly claws of Babara Yen in her monster version, walked out from the same door Tsunami used, dizzily horror-struck, with his face and uniform covered in a blood bath, not any different from Tsunami.

"Goddammit!" Exclaimed in shock, one of the chefs who accidentally landed eyes on him, before anyone noticed his arrival.

Everyone else turned their heads to see, "Chan..!" Felix exclaimed, calling his name. "Could he be Chan or Chen?" Wondered the head chef, since the waiter was an identical twin.

"What happened? Why is blood all over you and Tsunami? And where is your brother?" Felix asked confoundedly.

"Ch Ch," his mouth trembled as he stuttered, "Chan is dead!" He busted out in painful tears.

Under a lot of tension about the sorrowful news of loss of life, Felix, as the next of kin to his late brother Franklin Baron, had all the eight survivors' eyes on him. They waited to hear his submission about the situation at hand. Confused in the mind, worried on the face and scared in soul, Felix took a long breathe as he figured out what to tell them.

Sighing with tension, "It... it has come to my attention that my brother Franklin Baron maybe part of the flowing winds like many others, not alive," on reddish eyes nearly tearing, "all I can assure you right now is, am going to do my best for us to go back home safely."

"And after your safety, I'll find a way to pay a compensation amount of money to each of you, just to give you a fresh start in life," Felix talked, giving hope to all the eyes on him.

"Tsunami, please lead the way to where our colleagues are," he asked and carefully Tsunami led the way inside, through a small door where her and the waiter twin showed up from.

Fron behind, others followed.

Capricon city Slums:

On the other side of the table, Pinky's grandaunt sat after setting dinner on the table, facing grandmother and grandfather, Jonathan's parents, who were comfortably relaxing, ready to enjoy the meal.

"Don't feed us today we feel energetic enough to feed ourselves", Pinky's grandmother, in a bold voice told grandaunt who had raised a spoon full of soup toward her mouth.

The two had just returned from the hospital.

"Well," grand aunt neglected to help them and began to enjoy her rice and fish.

"Hello grannies," With a very happy smile Pinky showed up at the entrance from work.

"Oh, Pinky you're back!" Qickly grandaunt helped with carrying the basket out of her hand.

"Uh... I can see both of you can feed themselves now, your health seems to have improved," as a good child, Pinky praised their condition as she occupied the empty seat on the side where grandaunt was sitting, to enjoy dinner with them.

"Mmmh, no one beats grandaunt when it comes to preparing a delicious meal," she gave a shout out immediately after the first spoon of fish in the mouth.

Hours flew. With the love Pinky had for her grandparents, she deeply connected with them and here she was, after dinner, trying to showcase her modelling skills to the three of them. They laughed and cheering her up.

It wasn't long when Jonathan, Pinky's father, walked in front work too. Suddenly, Pinky grabbed a television romote and quickly cut off the modelling show on which she was practicing her moves, and guiltily sat down.

"Welcome back Jonathan!" With guilt on her eyes, grandaunt said.

Jonathan, unhappy, he quietly walked past all of them to his room.

"He's angry", whispered grandmother to Pinky, "I think he knew."

"What do I do now?" Confoundedly Pinky asked in a whisper.

"I think you should go and apologize!" Replied grandaunt.

"But I love modeling... he must understand!" Pinky sorrowfully argued.

"We know, but you know how your father hate to see you doing it. He wants you to focus on the business!" Replied grandaunt while the other two grannies stood up to leave.

As Pinky and grandaunt were still whispering to each other, discussing the situation at hand, back from the room returned Jonathan with a rude face.

"Same customers same profits... and some days lower than usual!" Jonathan exclaimed angrily infront of their guiltily looking faces.

He wrathfully sighed.

"There's no future for you in this modeling nonsense you waste most of your time on! Selling fish is our business _ you must concentrate all your efforts on it," bitterly Jonathan quarreled, "it is fish feeds you and pays family bills!"

"You should stop talking to her like that! It's not right!" Abruptly grandaunt intervened.

"She's my daughter and it's my responsibility to raise her into a productive person!" Angrily, Jonathan turned a rude face at his aunty and barked.

Silent and moody, grandaunt sat down looking so mad. His parents suddenly walked back, "my son, you used to be a very jolly person who couldn't talk roughly to anyone. I wonder what really happened to you?!" Jonathan's mother sadly spoke in her old age voice.

"Come-on honey, the answer is right under your nose; poverty!" Jonathan's father, in his deep male old voice said, "his wife Monica Yen, with whom they had a bright future died in the hospital while giving birth and left him with a baby. How do you expect him to be okay with all the sad memories?"

Bustling streets of Capricon city:

"I had a good job and a female friend who loved me unconditionally," miserably Suxes began to narrate as they turned away out of the cafeteria premises after nearly failing to collect any help from Brittany, "but I stupidly ruined everything for me and her."

"My mother believes," Kevin told Suxes, "that everything happens for a good reason."

"I was in prison for three good years, I've been homeless for three more hard knock year and in those years since I came out of prison, matters are worse that; not even a church is willing to employ me _ I have a criminal record that is what everybody says," Suxes said, " if all this is happening to me for a good reason, I don't need the good reason in it any more, it's not fair."

"...." Kevin kept silent.

"What is the meaning of life if I came out of prison when my five year old beautiful daughter is born, but I wasn't allowed to see her upto date?" In tribulation Suxes asked.

Kevin Moore didn't know what to do for his friend to save him from pain. When Suxes started crying, he stopped walking and looked at him with eyes of pity. For a minute long, sniffing and whipping tears which dripped off his crying face is what Suxes was doing.

"Sorry," it's all that Kevin had to say.

"About your father man, am sorry too," Suxes said as soon as he stopped crying.

"Its alright, and... thank you for being a special kind of being."

"Don't flatter me man! A while ago you've just witnessed how the woman i love with all my life perceives me! I am a damn loser who messed up her whole life _ and I don't blame her."

"Relax. By the way what is brain tumor?" Kevin asked eagerly after being silent for a moment.

"Uh.., its a mass of tissue that swells inside the head with no use," Suxes gave a brief understandable explanation.

"Mmmh!"

"But am going to miss you man!" Suxes told Kevin.

"I didn't see that coming!"

"I think you need to find your father's friend on the address given to you. He can tell you more about the kind of person your father was," Suxes never wanted Kevin to leave since he had found a friend in him.

"What is address? Oh this! I've actually forgotten about it, but keep it for me," Kevin handed the piece of paper over to him gladly.

"Are you sure you don't need to know anything else about your late father? You may be having a brother or a sister who is a human from your father's side somewhere."

"Sorry, but I miss my mother. Besides, humans are scary... I don't fit in."

"Not all of them, at least take me as an example."

"I feel the loneliness surrounding my mother right now. It seems she needs me," he imagined.

Right across the road on a side way was an aged couple in eachother's chest sharing a hug. Kevin noticed. Since he was only used to running around with his mother, eagerly, he asked Suxes in wonder, the meaning of what the two were doing.

"What you see there is a sign of friendship, compassion and care for one another, it's called a hug, so warm and sweet," Suxes answered.

Kevin Moore smiled brightly with his eyes towards the old couple as he said, "I think it's time for me to go home," Kevin started his journey straight away.

Just like Pink did when he was leaving their house, "bye bye," Kevin Moore, barefooted in his shabby hobbo outfit, raised his hand up and waved to Suxes, the only human he spent precious time with.

Franklin Baron ship:

"Babara Yen!" Felix exclaimed in a shock when Tsunami landed him on the lifeless bodies piled up in one room.

The five chefs, janitor and Chen the waiter behind him were already filled with too much curiosity. Slowly they walked past him to take a look at what had suddenly hindered them to continue moving. In an open-mouthed gaze, "Goddammit." The head chef cursed.

Some couldn't wait to throw up.
