When Isadora finally woke up, the golden rays of the morning sun struck her eyes. She fluttered her long eyelashes open taking in the details of the place when she paused midway. Wait! This was her room! How did she reach here?
The last thing she could remember was feeling dizzy while on the horseback, and when she finally stepped on the ground, she swayed before succumbing to darkness. That meant Alexander had brought her, right?
Just as she was about to leave the bed, the door flew open revealing a smiling Roselyn and a maid who trailed behind. Isadora furrowed her brows, her gaze never leaving Roselyn's until the woman sat next to her on the bed.
"I heard you were unconscious so I came to check on you," she said.
"I'm fine thank you," Isadora curtly replied.
"I guess it'd be advisable if you laid down a little longer... Alexander told me." She added due to the gaze she got.
