Lord Kanon's welcome dinner was a feast of its own. The maidens of house Horyodor were most certainly up, about and doing. Dishes came on and off the dining table at a quick pace. Reshi's sorcerers wondered how much a person could actually eat. They had barely finished their first batch of servings when the next was dumped on them.
"Fis...fis is nice, shir," Nyne said with a mouth full of food, making statements that only common reasoning would help the listener understand.
Like cats and dogs, Nyne and Makr ravaged their own portions like they had not eaten in days, maybe weeks. Many times in the course of them dining, the pair were caught nearly choking on their food.
"You two should take it easy, you know," Chesca said, calling them out. She had always been the one to neutralise this sort of situation whenever it arose. The situation where her brother and Nyne engaged in meaningless squabbles and competitions.
