Acting on Lord Kanon's orders, Neyen walked the streets of Sky End seeking out information on Kalen and his whereabouts.
Neyen shook his head in disappointment. "You know, Kalen...for a wanted man, you were not so hard to find. I never expected you'd live your life so openly."
Kalen merely laughed at his words. "That's funny. I'm no wuss, Neyen. Anyone that wants me is welcomed to try their luck."
Neyen noticed that Kalen staggered, an effect of drinking so much and while he approached, Neyen unsheathed his longsword and stepped forward in a calculated pace towards the tipsy Kalen.
"Oh! Did he send you too?" Kalen asked. He immediately drew his two short swords, using them to parry Neyen's forward slash that was made in an attempt to cut him down. Their blades clinked and they pushed at each other exchanging deathly stares.
The two men clashed many times with neither of them succeeding in making a scratch on his foe.
