Just before Kalen, another guard was promoted and made the personal guard of Horyodor blood and that was the man called Neyen Hillork, the personal guard of Lord Kanon himself.
Neyen has been serving House Horyodor from Lord Kanon's youth even before the birth of his daughter, and had remained as one of Lord Kanon's most faithful and oldest servant.
Neyen walked the hallway with walls decorated in hand-drawn pattern between priceless and well designed fabrics. He made his way to Lord Kanon's chambers as there were pressing matters to be discussed. Matters that needed to be resolved with immediate effect, otherwise they would be the ones on the losing end.
He knocked on the door twice before hearing the command. "Enter," Lord Kanon said.
Neyen bowed before Lord Kanon, "My lord."
