As they reached the end of their ride, Wilson turned to his younger brother with a smirk. "Well, Edward, it seems that you've gotten yourself into quite a mess," he said, his voice laced with disdain. "I hope that you're prepared to face the consequences of your actions."
Edward could only nod in silent agreement as he dismounted from his horse. His face contorted with fury as he gritted his teeth.
"I cannot let this scandal ruin my reputation or position," he seethed, balling his fists in anger. "And that Beatrice, that harlot! How dare she write such lies about me!"
He slammed his hand against the horse's saddle, causing the animal to startle and snort. The crown prince, Wilson, chuckled at his distress, clearly enjoying Edward's discomfort.
"What are you going to do about it?" Wilson taunted, smirking. "Are you going to confront her? Or perhaps challenge her to a duel?"
