Chapter 2 - The Lucky Souls

When they finally arrived at school, Sharon's father parked the truck in front of the main entrance. Sharon jumped out of the truck and hugged her father tightly as she whispers into his ears. "Thanks, Dad," she said, smiling. "You're the best, and I love you very much daddy."
"I love you too princess, and good luck, Sharon," her father said, returning her hug. "I know you'll do great things this year."
"I really appreciate you taking me to school."
"Anytime, Sharon," her father replied, his voice filled with pride. "Have a great first day and remember - I'm always here if you need me."
With that, Sharon waved goodbye to her father as she walked into the school building, her satchel slung over her shoulder and a big smile on her face. As she walked through the halls, she could feel the energy of the other students around her, all of them eager to start a new year and make new memories.
The halls were buzzing with excitement as students caught up with old friends and met new ones. As she walked towards her locker in the hallway, she heard her name being called out. Turning towards the sound, she saw two familiar faces beaming at her from across the hall. Her heart leapt with joy as she realized that it was her two friends whom she had not seen over the holiday. Their sight takes her breath away, and from where she was, she can see how the two-look gorgeous.
"Sharon! Over here!"
Sharon turned to see her two best friends, Lyn, and Harriet waving to her from down the hall. The three girls had been inseparable since they were in kindergarten, they were even luckiest to have gone to the same high school, and with this their friendships even grew stronger. They were thrilled to be reunited once again safe and sound.
The first friend Lyn. She was a tall and elegant girl. Her sleek, black hair is styled in a chic bob that falls just above her shoulders framed her beautiful face. She had piercing blue eyes that sparkled with joy always. She wore a stunning red dress that hugged her slender curves in all the right places, accentuating her long, toned legs. She looked like a vision of beauty and grace, radiating confidence and style. Lyn is known for her quiet confidence and her impeccable sense of style. Her outfit is accessorized with a pair of gold hoop earrings and a delicate chain necklace that adds a touch of sophistication to her overall look.
The second friend was named Harriet. She was of the same height as Sharon and stunning as well. Her curly hair framed her face in a wild and untamed way, giving her a playful and mischievous look. Her eyes were the color of honey, warm and inviting, and she wore a bright yellow dress that matched her sunny personality. The outfit is completed with a pair of trendy white sneakers that make her look effortlessly stylish.
Harriet has always been the bubbly one, always full of energy and ready for anything, and had a magnetic personality that drew people to her. She was spontaneous, fearless, and always up for an adventure. Her confidence was contagious, and she had a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable and at ease.
As Sharon approached her, she could feel the warmth of her friend's personality. She had always been the kind of girl of the group. She had a contagious laughter that could light up any room and a quick wit that could always make her laugh. Her beauty was not just in her appearance but in her heart, a warm, loving and generous soul.
As she gets closer to them, she can't help but feel grateful to have such beautiful friends. But what really sets them apart is their personalities. Harriet is the life of the party, always making everyone around her feel happy and energized. She is the one who can make a dull moment fun and exciting. She has a soothing presence that makes everyone around her feel at ease. Her gentle and caring nature makes her the perfect friend to confide in when things get tough. Lyn, on the other hand, is not a party person but a talkative one.
They are not only beautiful on the outside but also on the inside. Their personalities shine through in everything they do, and they make the perfect duo. The three of them greet each other with a warm hug, and she can feel the love and happiness radiating from them. From the hugs it was clear that these two beautiful souls were not just her friends but her soulmates. They brought out the best in each other, and their bond was unbreakable.
As the three friends hugged and caught up, they were reminded of how much they had missed each other over the holiday.
"Hey, guys!" Sharon exclaimed. "I'm so excited for today!"
"Me too," Lyn said, beaming with excitement. "I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us."
Harriet nodded in agreement, her curly brown hair bouncing as she did.
The bell rang, signaling the start of the first class of the day before even they could share among themselves how the holiday was. They then remove their books from their lockers. As they walk down the hallway towards their first class with her two friends held onto her arms, and she felt a sense of belonging and warmth. She can't help but feel lucky to have such amazing friends in her life.
It definitely going to be a great year with her two best friends by her side. Her friend's demeanor is the perfect balance to her own personality. They complement each other in every way, and she knows that they will be there for her through thick and thin.
They parted ways, promising to meet up at lunch to tell each other more stories of their holidays. Sharon walked into her first class, feeling a little nervous but excited to start a new year.
