The next day George told Lupin that it was his marriage anniversary on that day and he was expecting a call from his wife. So Lupin had to go to the opera alone. He enjoyed the opera, yet did not enjoy his loneliness. It was a romantic tragedy. He thought that true and loyal women were fictional things only. George would have cracked a mature joke about some incident in the opera, but he was not there with him. Lupin now needed a brother, not romance. But he could not show his neediness.
After the opera he went to a murky bar. As he was full with beer, a charming lady approached him. He smiled feebly at her. She came near him and talked to him about weather and other itinerary topics concerning news and fashion. Then she said, "The day I saw you running after the car, I have been following you. And I took your blood sample when you were knocked out in another bar one night with your boyfriend. And my doctor friends observed that your blood ia very bizzare, very unique. I think you are a werewolf."
Lupin laughed. The lady laughed. Then she changed the topic of discussion. Then what happened he did not remember for he passed out. Besides he was doubtful whether he really met a real girl or was it his imagination he could not recall. The next day he went to confirm whether he was talking and laughing with a girl or not by asking the waiters there. The waiters there said all in unison that he did not meet any girl.
