The most straightforward approach to delineate a Demon Lord Contender would be to refer to them as the individuals who are closest to awakening as a genuine Demon Lord.
There are numerous ways through which one can attain the status of a Demon Lord Contender, such as consuming sins, large magicubes, souls, or even grooming a Demon Lord Element.
For Nyx, the situation was identical.
He had acquired a Demon Lord Element by absorbing Perses, one of the seven true demons. However, at that time, the Element had not yet been awakened.
Nevertheless, after being immersed in the magic-rich chrysalis, it activated the Element's traits, thereby contributing to one of the factors that saved his life and endowed him with the potential to ascend to the status of Demon Lord Contender.
Nyx was overwhelmed by the brilliant golden light emanating from his body, causing him to feel dizzy and unable to see clearly. The surge of energy in his body was almost too much to bear, and soon the entire mountain range was illuminated by the light radiating from his body.

[Spatial Bisect] :: A remarkable skill that allows an individual to transport themselves to a previously visited location with ease. It is akin to opening a door, albeit a slower process than teleportation.
[Skill Benefaction] :: An impressive ability that empowers one to bestow their duplicated abilities upon their subordinates. Furthermore, it is possible to retract the skills that have been granted to subordinates.
[Skill Store] :: An ability that enables one to turn abilities that have been obtained and analyzed into a data collection that can be reproduced at any given time.

His body emanated a divine white hue, and his crimson celestial eyes were captivating.
It would be appropriate to refer to Nyx as a "beautiful man." His evolution and lengthy hair bestowed upon him an effeminate appearance that would undoubtedly captivate all women.
Without a doubt, his beauty was enviable.
"What happened?" he asked no one in particular.

It was the first time Nyx has ever heard Scentia sound like someone who's patience was greatly taxed. The first time Scentia had ever expressed emotions.

He rubbed his chin, "Wait, how many days has that been?" a question prepared for Scentia.

"Escalated? So fast?!" it seemed unrealistic for him.

"Like?" Nyx asked while raising an eyebrow.

Scentia used voice mimicry to portray the voice of Lync like it was some sort of pre-recorded message.
"Rivendell! No, no, no, this can't be happening, not now at least!" Nyx was in a state of constant panic. What made it less dire was the fact that his disco stick was hanging out, seeing as he was naked.
His reason for panicking was clear. He was in Zestria and where he needed to be was two days away. Before he'd get there a number of things could have happened, and he still had to care for Hermoine and Gallus who were recuperating.
"But how can Rivendell be under siege? Aren't the Grand Sorcerers available?" even if Greerheart was one of the Black Trinity members how powerful could he be to stand as an obstacle for them.
Nyx was unaware that the Grand Mages were unable to use their magic due to being trapped within a Magic Jamming Barrier.
This left them at a significant disadvantage. Unless they had access to primordial element like Miss Elena White, they were unable to do anything from within the barrier.
"And honestly, even if I went there... I wouldn't like to encounter Greerheart again." he was in fear of what might happen to him if they met again.

"Really?" visibly elated that a solution had been produced.

Initially he planned on saying yes, but something stopped him from doing such, "Wait, what about Hermoine and Gallus, I can't just leave them here.." an idea sprung into mind, "Can't I teleport them back to the manor?"

Nyx could do it because he had consciousness as well as the magicube control characteristics of the [Oracle Engine]. Rather than the magicubes crushing him, he'd act as a receptacle to contain a good number of it.
"What do I do now...?" it was more or less a rhetorical question
[>> Acquire some clothing. You're naked. <<] Scentia sounded exasperated.
He acted unsurprised, "Yeah... I almost forgot." just as he approached the two ragged black garments on the ground, he picked them up. It was the garments they'd used to tie together the materials they'd acquired some few days ago on this same mountain.
After he wore the garments, he was covered from head to toe. The first one was a blanket-like covering for his body, and the other he wore over his head as a loose scarf. This scarf acted as a hood to cover his head. Despite being fully clothed, he was still barefooted.
He looked at himself before shrugging. The attire was fairly acceptable.
"Would it be advisable to leave them here for now?" Nyx asked.
[>> Most likely. The immense magicubes emanating from the Chrysalises will serve to scare off denizens of the mountains. <<]
"Okay that makes sense.."
He decided it was time to use the [Spatial Bisect] since everything was in settled.

The use of [Spatial Bisect] resulted in the folding of the space between Endlave and Zestria, this resulted in a spatial gate that was marked by a magic seal with inscriptions and a blue radiating aura.
