Stepping out of the gate the first thing Nyx noticed was that he wasn't inside Excelsior which was the place he pictured himself transporting to. Instead he was outside.
"Scentia... why am I outside Rivendell?" he asked a tad unsatisfied.

He nodded slowly, "I see..." the problem now was how he would be able to get into the city without being at the disadvantage of being magicless.
From a kilometer away, the city was not clearly visible to him. However, as he got a better view, he was heartbroken to see the buildings on fire and others destroyed.
