In the forest, Eltic limped ahead with his arms and legs bleeding still. His face was pale, and his fingers were shaking. Eyes indicated drowsiness, and the breathing patterns represented severe exhaustion.
The way he walked, breathed, and felt seemed like he might collapse at any second. To any onlooker, the man's complexion was akin to the dead, a walking cadaver.
"So sleepy," Eltic muttered with a yawn. Yet his steps didn't seem to be stopping. "I shouldn't have left that hospital, but, I'll be honest, I couldn't bear to stay there.
"To see all those injured people. Being an accomplice for it, it was rough." He reluctantly smiled, one that seemed, barren.
