Narika sat still on a big stone while she waited for Adrik, she was nervous as she didn't know how exactly she was supposed to sit and act like everything is alright, when there's a huge possibility that Adrik is not okay.
He's out fighting for both of them, but here she is doing nothing. Narika has never felt useless in her life until now. She stood up, while holding tightly onto the gun he gave to her for protection, and tried to leave.
But then his strong warning made her stop in her tracks, before she let out a frustrated grunt and sat back down on the stone. Her hands were shaking vigorously and she kept the gun aside for a while to say a brief prayer for Adrik to be fine.
She reckoned as there hasn't been any gunshot sound yet, that there's a hope that things were being sorted out amicably. But then there was his jerk of a brother, who she knew was no different from Lucifer.
