Afina found herself unable to utter a single word for at least fifty seconds until a woman who should be in her early thirties approached her on the bus.
"Can I take a selfie?" she demanded.
The fellow beside her immediately drew his cap closer to his face. Afina saw the fast motion of his and decided he had too many things he was hiding.
The first time she saw him, he was walking suspiciously in the high house with this same cap pulled to cover the better part of his face.
Same thing with inside this bus and now when this woman moved closer to them, he drew his hoodie up and his cap tighter.
He was the type of person she needed to stay away from, she decided.
Now, to this woman.
It was not as though she were a celebrity. Why was everyone acting as though they were seeing an idol when they looked at her?
Although she was surprised, she couldn't deny the polite request of the woman.
