"That was one hell of a party." Fionn kissed his wife's neck.
Afina was struggling to get her zipper and he eased her of the stress. "It sure was."
"For the first time in years, we all enjoyed ourselves. We were genuinely happy." He said as he dragged her dress down and carefully raised one leg above the other, finally removing the fabric.
Afina nodded. She couldn't agree less. "Seeing everyone again – it was just beautiful." She breathed, regardless of the unease she felt.
Somehow, ever since the River and Stone found that site in the field where the meteor landed, a certain aura had swarmed over her. It didn't help that they found the site but didn't find the meteorite.
"But not as beautiful as you." Her husband's words cut the chase of her thoughts.
