He dragged a trolley tray inside, ignoring her gaze.
"Good morning, Royal Advisor Celio." Afina decided to try her luck as she courtesied him.
He simply glanced at her. "Morning." And then turned to leave.
Afina wished she could throw the entire tray on his head. He had probably learned indifference from Prince Cargan but with what she'd seen, Royal Advisor Celio's case seemed to be that of the trainee who had surpassed his trainer.
"If I may demand a minute of your time, Royal Advisor Celio." She pressed on.
He halted in his tracks and turned back to her. "And why, if I may ask?"
"The news." She swallowed, pointing at the program ongoing on the Television. "They say Giada is a traitor. She's my friend – she can't hurt anyone." The words came out rushed.
