To his surprise, Fionn trembled with laughter. He laughed so hard that Cargan almost puked.
And suddenly, like a possessed being, his laughter disappeared like they were never there, and his eyes became clouded with a chilling darkness.
Fionn. Cargan let go of his hand.
"Do not awake the devil in me, brother." He warned.
Cargan knew when Fionn got this way, he must have been extremely infuriated. But then again, what was his obsession with this silly flower?
"We already have so much violence to deal with. I do not want to sprout another with you but do not prick the beast in me also, brother. What is this fuss about a flower?" Cargan growled with gritted teeth.
Fionn's eyes strained to his door and Cargan panicked. Not because he feared Fionn but because he worried that his secret was out.
That his prize had been discovered. However, he knew that there was no way in hell Fionn could have gotten to know that.
