While Afina waited for the explanation to come, Mama Xylia and Father Atticus pushed it upon each other.
"No, you tell her. It was your decision." Mama Xylia countered.
Afina's eyes widened. It was Father Atticus's decision to split? Something must have really gone wrong somewhere. Her father wasn't the type to make such a heavy decision.
When Father Atticus hissed at Mama Xylia and hollered, "Why should I be the one to tell our daughter when it's all your fault?!"
Afina lost it. She was tired of waiting. She hadn't found her tears before. Her tears had refused to come. However, Mama Xylia and Father Atticus had forced it out by frustrating her.
