Anya was witty enough to handle the question. Anya wouldn't tell a lie but then, she didn't tell the complete truth too.

She began, leaving Cargan to wonder what she was up to. "Because we do not want any harm to come to both of us, we'll request that you keep this a secret. If Prince Adramelech finds out what you've done, I bet he'd be angered beyond words. So, return to your normal lives, act like normal divine persons, and await words from us."
