"What happened, Blue?" Giada questioned once again, her face etched with surprise.
Afina only turned to her and stared blandly, unable to utter a single sound.
Gia did the explaining despite her sobs. "My deity set the High House Scholars on fire while they were harassing her."
Afina saw that Giada's frown only deepened but nothing came after that. Not even a single ounce of pity for the divine girls but her countenance turned ugly in more of a concern for Afina.
"How is Blue back here?" She asked Gia, understanding that Afina was in no position for speech.
Gia's voice was getting less clogged now. "My deity is back but she is yet to explain to me why."
True, Afina could hear their conversation but was she really hearing them?
