As though she were a chased deer, Gia sprinted up and ran into the arms of Afina with a smile so big that it could swallow her whole.
"My deity! Why are you back? Y — your bags. You brought them back. How did you get through the gates? Won't you get in trouble for coming back?" Gia bombarded Afina with endless questions that just won't stop coming.
Afina remembered that Matron Valentina was awaiting her in the car and she was already late for her duty with Prince Cargan hence, she hastily shifted Gia aside.
"I will explain in detail when I'm back, Gia. But now, I have to run along. Matron Valentina awaits me in the car and I'm already late for my duty with Prince Cargan. Help me get changed." She urged her but Gia was too dumbfounded to listen.
She only stood there, glaring with widened eyes as though she were hearing the impossible.
Afina had begun to ransack her bags for her uniform. After a few motions of searching, she found it.
