Giada's maid was the first to respond. "We've been extremely worried about you, Ms. Giada!" Her voice brimmed with excitement as she hurried to stand beside her High House Scholar.
"Why?" the latter asked, still appearing dazed, if not more so.
Afina took on the role of explaining this time, despite feeling unsettled that Giada seemed indifferent to her return.
It was as if she didn't care whether Afina was back or not, as if she didn't consider her worthy of a reaction.
Even the other spiteful divine girls acknowledged her arrival, whether their acknowledgment was negative or not.
