Rose woke up to the sound of rustling, and when she opened her eyes, she saw that Grace was already up and about, arranging her things. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, feeling groggy and disoriented.
"Good Morning," Grace said, looking up as Rose stretched.
Rose yawned and rubbed her eyes. "Morning," she said her voice husky with sleep.
"Are you feeling better today?" Grace asked, her voice gentle. "You were in a pretty bad mood yesterday."
Rose winced, remembering her outburst. "Yeah, sorry about that," she said, sitting up. "I was just really upset."
"It's okay," Grace said, smiling. "I know you didn't mean it. I've known you too long not to know the real you."
Rose felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. Grace had always been there for her, even when she was at her worst. She knew that she didn't deserve such a good friend, but she was grateful nonetheless.
"I'm sorry I scared you," Rose said, feeling a twinge of guilt. "I didn't mean to be so angry."
