Ezekiel didn't even waste his time there to check out the grimoire he found when he stabbed the old psychotic lady.
He just took it with him and headed to his room very fast .
Because of all that noise outside the room he found Nathan awake, he was wiping his eyes the moment he entered the room therefore Ezekiel said to him immediately:`` Your clothes are dry right now, make sure to change them very fast "
Nathan stopped wiping his eyes then looked at Ezekiel very confused, it felt like he was still not aware about the place that they were in and the fact that he was staying there with him.
" I am taking you somewhere to buy food, you must be hungry and this place only has candy in it, ahhh, too bad for your teeth, don't you think? ``
Ezekiel smiled at him, it was one of his weird forced smiles that were intended to make him feel good but instead they made him feel so bad .
Ezekiel made sure to carry all of his stuff as Nathan was just wearing his clothes that Ezekiel washed that night .
As they were heading outside, Ezekiel made sure that his brother wouldn't see the corpses lying on the ground.
He didn't have time to remove the bodies from the ground, and he didn't have any idea of how to hide the bodies from him.
Therefore, he just thought of one thing, just one idea that crossed his mind as he was thinking about leaving this place.
Ezekiel knew that he had to leave the motel, but he couldn't bear the thought of his little brother seeing the blood and corpses outside their room.
He wanted to protect his younger sibling from the harsh reality of their situation, and preserve his innocence for as long as possible.
Ezekiel carefully considered his options and ultimately decided to come up with a plan to safely evacuate them both from the motel without exposing his brother to the gruesome sights outside.
"Let's play a game" Ezekiel suggested to him.
Even though Ezekiel was a little kid he knew that something was wrong and Ezekiel was not going to play with him all day just for no reason.
"Why? " Nathan said.
What Ezekiel didn't know was that Nathan heard the noises outside their room.
" Is there a reason for playing with my little brother?" Ezekiel asked him.
' Shit, it feels like I can't even lie to a little kid !' Ezekiel felt weird as he lied to him that way.
' It is for the best, if he sees this body outside he is going to hate me for sure'
He knew that it would scar his brother for life, and he couldn't bring himself to let that happen. So, he came up with a plan.
Ezekiel knew that he could use his magic to protect his brother and ensure that he would not see the horrors that lay outside the motel room.
Ezekiel told his little brother that they had to leave this place unseen, yet he didn't tell him why..
Ezekiel carefully opened the window and looked down. He could see the street below.
He knew that they needed to get out of there as soon as possible, and he had only one option left.
He closed his eyes and focused on his magic. He felt the power coursing through him and he knew that he was ready.
Ezekiel then jumped out of the window with his brother in his arms. But instead of falling to the ground, Ezekiel used his magic to levitate.
He floated down to the street below, and his brother's eyes widened with amazement.
It felt like flying when it's not, Ezekiel did the spellso that they wouldn't feel the impact of that fall..
Ezekiel could see the relief and wonder in his brother's eyes, and he knew that he had made the right decision.
The two of them continued to float down the street, avoiding the horrors that they left behind them .
Ezekiel used his magic to make sure that his brother was safe. They eventually made their way out of the village but before that Ezekiel to see something else happening in front of him .
There was something weird in the atmosphere. He knew that someone must have alerted the government.

He was true about that because the moment he went outside of the house he heard a noise coming from the front .
' What ? So soon ! This is not normal'
Nathan was still feeling amazed about the power of Ezekiel, the rush of adrenaline that he got from falling made him very excited as he started to wave his hands in the air.
" Now you're playing little kid," Ezekiel said, very calmly.
Ezekiel didn't waste a second there because he knew that the government was after that incident.
" They show out very fast," Ezekiel said, very surprised.
Nathan looked at him and said: "Who ? Who are you talking about?"
Ezekiel chose to ignore him, he knew that telling the truth was not an option.
Ezekiel noticed as he was walking away the amount of soldiers that were there..
They all looked like the one who killed his colleague...
' Who told them about the attack ? '
He just made sure to move fast because if he wasted just a few seconds there they were going to capture him and kill him.
He made sure to cast a spell to remove all the traces of him walking in the snow, then he started to walk away.
He was not sure about where he was heading but he was feeling more comfortable with his brother by his side .
' This is so weird, who told them ? How did they know? It is not like they could sense something like this from afar …and that old bitch acted as if she was doing this for a long time , she was not even bothered '
When he arrived in the next city after a long time of walking around he just had to go to a filthy motel this time by choice .
He thought that he was going to be safe for the time being until he got to read that grimoire .
Nathan was feeling a lot of cold even when spent the whole time making sure that he felt hot with a spell.
During that time Nathan just kept being silent when Ezekiel had those serious expressions in his face ..
And all that Ezekiel was thinking about was the way that the government knew about what happened.
