Their reactions were both testaments to the havoc she had wrought on the poor Outers, who were guilty of nothing more than the intent to destroy human civilization.
"But...shouldn't we wait for Bee and Shadow?" Matt asked.
"No need. They can follow our light. Besides, if they encounter any harm, I'll know," Rose replied. Her confident tone put her subordinates at ease. Since they were pressed for time, and the extermination was concluded, they all advanced further into the tomb.
