[ONE MONTH LATER]
"Haa... haa..." The voices of a male and a female overlapped, both panting heavily. Their strained breaths indicated exhaustion, and misty breath escaped their lips while sweat dripped from their bodies as they collapsed to the cool floor, completely worn out.
"That... took a lot... out of me..." The dark-haired boy spoke, his heavy breath punctuating his words at intervals.
"Huff... Right back... haa... at you." Violet replied, equally breathless.
Matt and Violet were dead tired from overexerting themselves during training. They had been at it for a month already, but this was the first time they had pushed themselves this far. It was Violet's idea to see just how far they could go to celebrate their one-month training anniversary. Unfortunately, it did not end well for either of them.
"I think I'll just stay here for thirty minutes. I can't even move," Matt groaned, closing his eyes.
