Mrs. Wyatt looked at her with surprise. "You might no longer want a divorce?" she asked straightforwardly to understand Arissa. The young woman before her kept on moving in circles with her feelings.
Arissa mouthed an 'oh' with an expression that said; maybe. And then she smiled without saying anything.
Mrs. Wyatt blinked at her.
Arissa brought the glass of juice to her lips and took slow sips from it without taking her eyes off Mrs. Wyatt's own.
Mrs. Wyatt held her gaze, "Do you feel something for my son?" her voice was filled with hope.
Arissa would not ask her such a question if she didn't feel anything, would she? If the couple could make it work between themselves, she promised to stand with them and fight any obstacles on the way.
She could see in her son's actions that he loves his wife but Arissa wasn't giving her clues and her hope lies on what Arissa would reply to this question.
