Chapter 20 - WAR

Han Jiwoo went to his chambers after dropping Song Minhyun at her Chambers to rest, Han Jiwoo slid the door open and turned to face the maid behind him, "I don't want anybody to disturb me, no one is permitted to enter this room except if I grant them the permission." Han Jiwoo sternly said.

The maid bowed in response and left, Han Jiwoo stood watching the maid leave and when he couldn't see her back again, and after making sure that no one was watching him Han Jiwoo closed his chambers door, carefully locking it from behind with the wood in which he used to hook an empty space made available.

Han Jiwoo also did the same for all the windows that were in the room locking them one after the other until they were all closed.

Han Jiwoo stood in front of the mirror and sighed, why can't he have normal parents like other children.

Han Jiwoo silently removed his robes revealing a clothe used to tie his chest tightly.

Han Jiwoo slowly unwrapped the clothes revealing a pair of luscious breasts as she massaged them hissing with pain.

Han Jiwoo moved to remove the ribbon on her hair causing it to fall down to her waist, it was normal for guys to keep long hair so she was not suspected for that, Han Jiwoo looked at the mirror and realized a smile of satisfaction, though Bogsu was beautiful and talented the same thing could be said to Han Jiwoo, it's just that while Han Jiwoo could showcase her talents, the same could not be said for her beauty.

After Song Minhyun gave birth to Han Jiwoo and saw that she was a girl, Song Minhyun decided to kill the Empress and her child so that the child wouldn't be able to fight for the throne with Han Jiwoo, luckily for Song Minhyun, Han Jisung had traveled to another city for a peace treaty so Song Minhyun had the time to successfully execute her plan.

Though Song Minhyun was able to kill the Empress, the little princess managed to escape and with the fear that the little princess might come back and fight for the throne, Song Minhyun announced that she gave birth to a boy, that had more chances of succeeding the Emperor, after ensuring to kill the midwives who delivered her so that they would be witness or evidence that Song Minhyun actually gave birth to a girl that night, so Han Jiwoo was probably stuck like this for her whole life and that she hates.

"Greetings your highness." A voice outside Han Jiwoo chambers called out causing Han Jiwoo to jolt before tying the clothes back hurriedly.

"I thought I told you I don't want any disturbance of any kind." Han Jiwoo lectured thinking it was his maid, but opened the door to see a palace steward at the door, he frowned at what the guy might want.

"His majesty requests your presence, your highness." The steward bowed with his hands clasped together before his head.

"I would be right there." Han Jiwoo said wondering what the old man needed her for, She went in to properly adjust her robes, tying her hair ribbon back in place, though she was the crown prince, Han Jiwoo has not been coronated that was why she did not have a crown yet.

"We may proceed." Han Jiwoo said opening the door unexpectedly making the steward Jump in surprise, though the prince was a boy, he could pass out as a girl with his palm sized face and luscious lips, the steward shook his head to get rid of his thoughts before bowing down to prince that went ahead.

Bogsu went back to his place with bad mood written on her face as she grumbled, she can't believe that she finally found someone who could escape her grip and left suddenly like that of course she would be mad.

A steward from far saw Bogsu frowning face and gulped in fear, he had heard from the garden servants that the lady that was before him was the lady in red of course he would be scared especially now that she seems to be in a bad mood.

After gathering courage the steward went forward and bowed to Bogsu.

"Greetings general." The steward greeted courteously.

"Just get on with it." Bogsu said impatiently.

"His majesty requests your presence, general." The steward said hurriedly the feeling was mutual he too didn't want to stay there any longer.

"There is definitely no way i'm going, not after he seized my wine, tell his Highness to deal with the matter himself." Bogsu said before walking away from the stunned steward.

The steward felt as if a huge rock had landed on his chest because the urge to vomit blood, someone dares to not visit the Emperor all because of some wine.

The steward felt a surge of courage to see who had such guts, but he only lifted head to see the thin air, wait what, The steward turned around to see Bogsu leaving with her red dress swaying behind her.

The urge to cry filled the steward, why couldn't he just get an easy person to deal with.

The steward rushed behind Bogsu and when he reached her front he kowtowed before Bogsu panting.

"General, please have mercy on me, because if you refuse not to go to this meeting the Emperor would take it as I don't do my job." The steward pleaded with tears almost dropping from his eyes.

"Fine, Fine I would go, Sheesh I can't believe a grown man like you almost shed tears." Bogsu said walking away leaving the Steward with a hurt pride.

Bogsu got to the palace to see gloomy faces on the face of everyone including the crown prince.

"Did someone die, what's with the gloomy faces?" Bogsu questioned.

"I'm sure if someone died it would be that Eunuch Chen that guy is too much of a busy body to live long." Bogsu thought out loud, Chen Jihyun felt as if an arrow hit his heart as he heard Bogsu words, he was about to retaliate but Han Jisung spoke before him.

"Watch your manners." Han Jisung scolded Bogsu but Bogsu shrugged her shoulders in response.

"Yes, this a matter of national importance." Han Jiwoo added looking serious making Bogsu raise her brows with curiosity.

"The great Min nation has declared war on us, they insisted that our people had stolen from them and took their citizens to be sold to slavery, but the truth of the matter is that they just want our lands to themselves so they would be more influential." Han Jisung briefed.

"Is that why there are gloomy faces, what's there to be sad about as the general I say we get this war going, time to shed some blood, i'm sure my sword hasn't touched human skin since it was just newly made, this is a perfect opportunity, ohhh Alice would be so happy about this." Bogsu said happily finally there was some action she thought.
