Chapter 26 - MONSTER

After everything, Song Minhyun got dressed with a frown on her face, Song Minhyun couldn't believe she had let desires take over her once again.

Song Minhyun couldn't blame herself as it was all Han Jisung fault, he never really paid attention to her, so she had to go look for pleasure somewhere else.

"I thought you were complaining earlier on that someone could have seen me, you did not seem to worry about that when your desires hit you." Song Minhyun nagged, wanting to transfer her aggression on Chen Jihyun.

Chen Jihyun just realized a smile "like you did not take pleasure in it too." He said causing Song Minhyun to hiss angrily.

"You tore my undergarments too." Song Minhyun said frustrated as she realised that she had no undergarments on.

"You can wear one of mine, it's not like you and Han Jisung sleep together for him to notice it's mine." Chen Jihyun shrugged.

Song Minhyun angrily wore his undergarments after taking them from one of the neatly arranged pile on the floor, and wore her robes back, before covering her face with a veil so no one could recognize her.

Song Minhyun stood In front of the mirror in Chen Jihyun room, and being satisfied with her unrecognizable look, she headed out through the window.

Chen Jihyun just watched her as she left, he had gotten what he wanted so there was no need to pay attention to her anymore.

Chen Jihyun stood up to think of how to contact the machineries on the plan, when an idea came to his mind all of a sudden, why not plan to kill Han Jisung along with Bogsu, that way Han Jiwoo can automatically take control of the throne and power would be in his hands, but Chen Jihyun decided not to tell Song Minhyun about it as he knew she would not want Han Jisung dead.

After some minutes of analysing Chen Jihyun finally stood up to draft a letter for the machineries, as he held his brush tightly, trying to control his excitement as he added strokes to the paper.

Qi Kingdom

People busied about with their business, in the village square, one could see how orderly things were done.

The people had heard that the Emperor was passing through the village square today of course they would be orderly, no one wants their heads detached from their body.

Soon after, trumpets were heard, it was the stewards announcing the arrival of the Emperor, a brown carriage in which the edges were made of gold was seen as the people bowed to the carriage, mother's pulled their little children to the ground with them, with the fear that the children may not bow causing the anger of the Emperor.

Mean while, inside the carriage, a man wearing a red robe with flower designs made of gold and gold coloured inner wear, his crown beads swayed as the carriage moved.

The breeze blew the curtains causing light to shine on the man's eyes making him open his eyes, it was a pair of refreshing brown eyes that held a dull look in them.

When the light reflected fully on the man's face, behold it was the guy Bogsu had tried persuading at the guest house, it was Song Yuan.

Song Yuan looked at the people lazily through the open carriage window, he didn't bother to wave or greet them like any royal would do, besides what was his business with them, they were too fearful of him, Song Yuan was very sure if he raised his hands to wave at them, the people would run for shelter thinking he wants to attack them.

It all started after he disappeared for a year before coming back early, they had all thought he has become a monster so they avoided him at all cost, his killing spree also added to the rumors, so it went from bad to worse.

Song Yuan was a dictator in the eyes of the people, the ministers had quit their positions, because they didn't want to be ruled by a 12year old but the news went round that he forced them to quit.

Song Yuan didn't bother to explain himself, as long as he was able to protect his family legacy and kingdom, what the people thought was not his business.

Soon, Song Yuan carriage reached the gate that shielded the Kingdom from intruders, as the gate were wide open allowing the inhabitants of Qi nation to leave and people from other nation to enter, for whatever business they might have.

Soon, Song Yuan spotted what he had been looking for, it was a messenger that wore a black hat with the emblem of Chi nation imprinted on his chest, Song Yuan dull eyes immediately lit up, finally the message was here.

Song Yuan got the information from a spy that his sister wants to send him a message and he has been expectant since, as it has been years since their last communicated.

Song Yuan had always looked up to his elder sister since they were little and did not buy the idea of her being a Concubine in another's land, she deserved to be the queen, but seeing his sister attempt suicide just to marry Han Jisung, Song Yuan decided to watch on.

Later on, Song Yuan was happy Song Minhyun, his sister, had already married before calamity struck their family or he would have lost her.

Song Yuan was hurt when Song Minhyun despite hearing about the news about his disappearance and reappearance, never for once tired to contact him.

Maybe she was dealing with the life of being a Concubine, Song Yuan had always thought because he knew the circumstances surrounding the royal family, but when the Empress of Chi nation died, still no news so he gave up hoping till when his spy told him the news.

A knock on the carriage brought Song Yuan back from his train of thought.

"Come in." Song Yuan said in a cold raspy voice.

The messenger came in trying to hide his fear, and bowed to Song Yuan who was younger than him but what could he do, the man was too scary.

The messenger had earlier been shocked when he saw Song Yuan's steward calling out to him, to come, but still he was not too shocked.

Rumors had it that Song Yuan cared about his sister a lot and had his first kill because of her.

It happened when a guy captivated by Song Minhyun beauty tried to have his way with her, and Song Yuan despite being young did not hesitate to pull out a sword to save his sister and thrusted it directly into the man's heart, blood spilled on Song Yuan face but he blinked innocently like nothing ever happened, hugging his sister to comfort her.

If only Song Yuan knew what the Royal Concubine was facing in Chi Kingdom, the messenger thought sadly.
