Chapter 28 - WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?

"Turn back, let's head to the palace." Song Yuan commanded the stewards that rode the horse which was connected to the carriage.

The steward without any further delay whipped the horse as it neighed in response, raising it's two legs up before landing back to the ground.

The steward steered the horse towards the village square again, as they headed back to the palace, not bothering to invite the messenger with them.

The messenger watched as the carriage disappeared from his view, as he turned back and started his journey to Chi Kingdom.

Song Yuan got to the palace and called for a court meeting, after those sets of ministers quit, he randomly appointed ministers to support him in ruling the Kingdom as it was not a one man job.

The Ministers gathered wondering why Song Yuan had called them, he never summons them for anything.

The ministers could only converge to the palace during their fixed monthly meeting which is meant for giving report depending on the sections you handle and apart from that, no emergency meeting has ever been held.

The ministers stood silently, waiting for Song Yuan although he wasn't there, Song Yuan had eyes everywhere so it was best for them to behave or to be beheaded.

Soon Song Yuan arrived with his hands folded at his back, his robes draping on the red pine floor, as the pillars were green in colour, Song Yuan throne stood out magnificently at the elevated steps, with a dragon well crafted on the wall with it's head pointing down to to the throne.

Song Yuan aura alone made the ministers shiver in their spines, it was always like this every meeting, if not for their greed for money and the benefits of being a minister, they would rather quit than being controlled by a person like Song Yuan.

Song Yuan reached his throne and flung his robe backwards before sitting down, resting his head on his folded hands that rested on the arm of the throne.

Immediately the ministers saw Song Yuan take his seat, they all fell to their knees bowing down completely till their foreheads touched the ground.

"Greetings your Majesty." The ministers chorused together, while Song Yuan looked at them nonchalantly not bothering to tell them to rise.

When the ministers did not hear a thing from Song Yuan, they looked at themselves awkwardly, not knowing whether to rise or keep bowing as they were.

"We are going for war, prepare all sections you are heading to support in the way they can." Song Yuan ordered not bothering about their awkwardness.

"But your majesty," A minister wanted to protest.

"If you wish to say anything against my decision, you can voice it out when your deep beneath the ground." Song Yuan threatened casting a warning glance at the minister that wanted to talk.

"Okay your highness, we would carry out your order now." The ministers chorused with urgency, they wanted to get out of the place before the Emperor got mad on them.

"You may leave." Song Yuan ordered without bothering to raise his head throughout the whole meeting.

His life has always been on routine, everything was like a repeat show that went on and on, maybe the war and spilling some blood will make him liven his life a bit, now he kind of miss his Perverted Angel.

During the period in the forest, she had taken care of him till his full recovery, and after he gained power, Song Yuan went back to the forest to search for her but he found nothing.

Then Song Yuan decided to look at the closest Village to the forest and found out it was Chi nation.

Song Yuan decided to go there in disguise to see if he could find his angel, but when Song Yuan got there, he saw a place with guest house written on it boldly and decided to have a rest there, only to discover the place was just a male prostitute's house in disguise, Song Yuan was about leaving when he encountered the lady that wore a red dress who tried to buy him.

Remembering the incident, Song Yuan closed eyes fluttered open, as his eyes lashes still dropped low, he squinted looking in to nothing trying to analyze the girl's face.

There was no way she was his Perverted Angel, they looked totally different and not only that, Song Yuan remembered giving his Angel an anklet to wear every time to so he could recognise her.

And when Song Yuan checked the lady in red legs there was nothing there, anyways it was not good for him to think about another woman apart from his Perverted Angel, he should just go address the army instead on the upcoming warm.

Song Yuan finally stood up from his throne, descending the stairs elegantly and handsomely.

When Song Yuan reached the gates of the Army camp, he could hear merriment and joy within the place, seems they were celebrating something.

Song Yuan pushed open the gates, as there were no guards stationed there, maybe they were inside with their comrades.

The guards danced in merriment, not sensing Song Yuan presence.

Wine bottles could be seen in their hands as they shouted and hooted, a girl who stood in their middle with a flushed face.

Song Yuan leaned on a tent to his left folding his hand with his crown beads tilting sideways along side him.

The soldiers still oblivious to his presence, carried the girl on their shoulder going round the campfire, the girl head was bent as they turned round the fire.

But when she decided to raise her head, the girl received the shock of her life, the Emperor standing there watching their merriments.

"Your highness." The girl cried out surprised, causing all the soldiers head to turn in horror, the people carrying the girl mistakenly dropped her down in horror, as they saw the Emperor staring at them with his infamous devil's grin.

"Greetings General." The soldiers chorused.

Hearing their greetings Song Yuan bent down to pick one of the bottles laying on the floor.

"Can someone tell me what is going on here." Song Yuan questioned coldly, breaking the bottle with his bare hands as he stared at them.

The soldiers watched as the bottle pieces dropped as they gulped in fear, this was bad, they all thought.
