Before Zhu Jiao started to draw he thought back to the things that Da Hua Jia had said, of course, he was too lazy to remember them fully so he decided to just do the TL;DR version.
"Infuse Qi, Draw with a single stroke"
Zhu Jiao shrugged "Make sense!"
Immediately he put the brush on the paper, but before he could, he realized that he still didn't know how to infuse qi. Thinking back to the time when he cultivated his qi for the first time, he started to draw in the energy of the world, and using his psychokinesis he forcefully jammed into the brush marker. The energy of the world after being beaten into submission just had to go with it.
His brush marker glowed golden, as he started to draw, in a single stroke he traced the pencil lines and finally completed it easily. The paper shone a golden hue before calming down.
Zhu Jiao raised his hands as he got the attention of Da Hua Jia.
"I'm done! Please check my work."
Da Hua Jia looked up to see that student that hadn't even touched his brush and slowly made her way up to take a look at the talisman.
"This… You actually completed it!" She exclaimed, with amazement in her voice. The other students who were midway through drawing immediately stopped as their concentration got disrupted.
Whispering erupted in the class as Da Hua Jia started to examine the work.
"What skill did you seal within the talisman?" She asked him.
"Erm… Flame punch?"
"Hmmm… not bad it is a good basic skill, you can test it out with the dummy! Just inject a bit of qi into the talisman and toss it onto the dummy."
Zhu Jiao scratched his head as he tried to whisper to Da Hua Jia.
"How do you actually inject qi into objects?"
"What!? How did you draw the talisman if you can't inject qi? Stop joking around! Just dig deep into your Dantian and draw out a sliver of Qi and push it into the talisman."
Da Hua Jia thought that Zhu Jiao was joking, but answered him anyway, there were always some eccentric experts around, so she just answered him.
Zhu Jiao nodded his head as he found a sliver of Qi and drew it out, inserting it into the talisman he tossed the talisman using his psychic force to aid it as it sailed forward through the air landing on the Dummy.
The minute the Qi entered the ink infused with the energy of the world it immediately started to catch fire.
Zhu Jiao watching the process got excited, it was his first time doing this and he was glad that the skill was working.
The unstable world energy finally couldn't handle it anymore mixed with the qi from Zhu Jiao the talisman that was on the Dummy exploded into a huge fireball, decimating the dummy and the walls surrounding Dummy altogether.
The students in the class ducked under the table, girls screamed and the guys instinctively raised their arms to block their faces.
Da Hua Jia immediately used a shield talisman to block both her and Zhu Jiao from the explosion. As a teacher, her first instinct was the check if her student was doing alright. With him being the closest to the explosion, even with the shield on it still would damage him to a certain extent.
She walked to the front and tapped the shoulder of Zhu Jiao.
"Are you okay!?" She asked anxiously.
Zhu Jiao turned his head with his face contorted. "I… I don't think it was supposed to look like that…"
Evidently, Zhu Jiao was not hurt, if anything only his heart hurt, and the skill did not appear the way he wanted it to. Instead, it just caused a huge explosion. If he wanted to cause a huge explosion he would also do it.
"Also... The damage, it's not my fault, right? There's something faulty with the paper right?"
Da Hua Jia was lost for words. She was still trying to process what happened exactly. She had a faint idea but she couldn't pinpoint it exactly so she could only explain it the best she could.
Meanwhile, the teaching faculty nearby started running to the class to see what had happened. Looking at the hole in the wall all of them couldn't believe what had happened, the sheer amount of force needed to break the dummy was a lot for that to burst through the wall, that is just insane.
"Okay, it was just a small accident, no one was hurt. I'll get someone to patch up the wall later. Thank you for your concern."
Da Hua Jia bowed and apologized for the ruckus to the rest of the faculty members before resuming her class after sending Zhu Jiao back to his seat.
"Let's take this as a learning opportunity, the explosion was caused because the energy within the talisman isn't stable. It was a good attempt, but you need to learn to control your qi a bit more and then it's fine."
Zhu Jiao nodded his face showing a trace of embarrassment.
After spending an hour or so, the number of students that actually completed the talisman drawing was only just a handful and out of the handful of students there were a few who managed to make their talisman work.
After going through the learning points of the class, Da Hua Jia settled the class down as she started to speak about the process of passive talismans.
Theoretically speaking, the process of making passive talismans is plenty of times harder than a normal active talisman. Namely, because they needed to have the correct imagery in their head. By not having the imagery one would fail to draw up the correct effect.
Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a talisman and showed it to the class, raising it up it immediately made the students feel their minds clear up.
"Students, this is a concentration talisman!"
