Zhu Jiao screamed as he immediately used one hand to grab the rock and used it like a club trying to crush the poor bee. The bee, now in shock after getting assaulted by the huge mountain immediately panic flew into the flower patch nearest to it and lay in one of the flowers trembling.
Zhu Jiao took a deep breath as he began to calm down, his fear of bees was due to a traumatic experience when he was younger. When he was 3 years old, his parents took him out to the park for a playdate. Unbeknownst to the family of 3, an unwanted visitor tagged along with them on the way home, entering their home.
Not being able to find a way out, that unwanted visitor ended up stinging poor Zhu Jiao, causing what was the first and last time he would feel pain ever. After the pain of being stung, his body developed unbreakable skin to prevent any damage that is caused to him.
After calming down, the sound of his heartbeat slowly vanished from his ears as he started to hear the voices of everyone again. The whispering got louder and louder.
"Look at that! He's got the 200kg rock in one hand over his head easily!"
"Does that mean he's qualified already?"
Even Shi Tou and the examiner at the side were stunned.
Zhu Jiao looked up at the rock in his hand and immediately let it land onto his other hand, he let it drop to his shoulders as he restarted the lifting over his head action.
The Examiner was speechless, "..."
The Audience was speechless, "..."
Shi Tou ground his teeth as he immediately greeted Zhu Jiao. "Boss! I will be your lackey from now on!"
"Alright, was it Shi Tou? Follow me and you won't regret it, I'll make a man out of you yet. Like Mulan."
"Mulan? Is he a strong warrior too? I never heard of him" Shi Tou looked at him confused.
"You could say that… In some ways, the strongest man can't even match up with he….im. They can't match up with him."
Zhu Jiao answered as he walked confidently to the examiner, "Can I proceed?"
The examiner immediately stepped aside allowing Zhu Jiao to make his way through the door and into the next courtyard.
Stepping into the next courtyard, he immediately caught sight of Lin Chen who was standing at the side waiting anxiously for Zhu Jiao to come in through the door. Dashing forward and grabbing onto the collar of Zhu Jiao, Lin Chen started to berate him.
"Lin Dong! I told you not to be so reckless! Look where you brought us! 1 million gold in debt!"
Lin Chen aggressively shook Zhu Jiao, feeling agitated. Turning his head towards Shi Tou, he bowed his head trying to apologise.
"Sir, if you can find it in your heart, give us a while to pay you back the 1 million coins…"
Shi Tou scratched his head as he felt a bit awkward.
"I lost to boss, I'm his lackey now, so he doesn't owe me 1 million gold…"
Lin Chen pointed towards Shi Tou as he gasped heavily. "You… What was your score in the last test?"
"I passed 180kgs" Shi Tou replied.
"Then… did Lin Dong pass 180kgs too?" Lin Chen asked.
"Boss was totally different, not only did he pass 180kg, he lifted up the 200kg rock and swung it around like it was nothing!"
Shi Tou's eyes lit up as he mentioned the conquest by Zhu Jiao, the 200kg rock swing really changed him fundamentally, it was only then did he realise that he shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, aesthetically pleasing muscles can be functional muscles too.
Lin Chen staggered back a bit as he rested his arm and Zhu Jiao's shoulder. But before he could say anything, a voice came from the side.
"Look at these people, making a big deal after passing through just one stage of the test. Isn't it pathetic? Ah Wang"
A noble looking man stood beside a skinny youth as they looked on judging the world and occasionally leaving some remarks to agitate the people coming for the test.
"Yes young master Hong, they are frogs at the bottom of the well!"
Lin Chen turned around and shook his head as he purposely avoided their gaze.
"Oh~ isn't it young master Lin Chen, fancy meeting you here. Why are you so nice, bringing out your retarded cousin for a walk?"
Young master Hong stepped forward, walking close towards Lin Chen before sizing up Zhu Jiao who was staring at something in the distance looking up in the sky, at this point, Zhu Jiao was so distracted by everything around him, he couldn't even focus on one point normally.
"Young Master Lin Dong, it's good for you to come out for a walk, the last time we met you crawled under my legs after making a bet at the brothel. It would be a shame if you did the same thing again in front of the entire school."
Zhu Jiao continued his razor sharp focus staring at that one point in the sky, ignoring whatever young Master Hong had said entirely.
No matter how hard Young Master Hong had tried, he still couldn't agitate Zhu Jiao into taking action, it was weird for him because Young Master Hong and Lin Dong had some history together and he always manages to make Lin Dong upset and fly into rage.
He was hoping he'd do the same today and that he would take the upper hand and make Zhu Jiao embarrassed in front of everyone.
Eventually, he gave up as his patience wore thin and he signalled Ah Wang to do something about Zhu Jiao, while fighting in school isn't that big of a deal, if Zhu Jiao was injured, then he wouldn't have to be the one to take responsibility, so he asked Ah Wang to do it.
Ah Wang stepped forward quickly, drawing his arm back as his foot smashed onto the ground, driving the foot into the ground his fist came flying right close to Zhu Jiao's face. But before the fist could reach the face of Zhu Jiao, a large hand came blocking the fist of Ah Wang from landing a hit onto Zhu Jiao. Shi Tou stood menacingly looking at Ah Wang and Young Master Hong.
After pulling back, Young Master Hong felt like he had wasted a lot of time and asked Ah Wang to retreat.
"Hmph, it seems your lackey is good at defending you. Young Master Lin Dong, I'll see you again in class… Or not.."
Lin Chen, approached Zhu Jiao as he followed his line of sight up into the sky, before turning back to Zhu Jiao and asking him.
"Did you receive enlightenment? Why the heck are you just looking at the sky like that?"
Without even turning to look at Lin Chen, he opened his mouth and replied.
