Chapter 15 - Going overboard

He started to push through all the blockages, destroying 10%, 20%, 60%, 95%. He was close to achieving the perfect meridians. Breaking through the blockages, the meridians themselves naturally widened. Reaching 95% clear was what most cultivators dreamed of, in the continent maybe only a handful of people would be able to obtain that 95% clear rate.

But not for Zhu Jiao, our Zhu Jiao had OCD, so he had to find the remaining blockage and clear it out of his meridians. After scanning his body a few times, he finally found the blockage hiding near his skull. He forcefully used the energy of the world like a hammer and bashed the blockage hard a few times, until the blockage was finally cleanly removed.

A golden light shone down onto Zhu Jiao from up above, blinding those who are there beside him.

"It's… the legendary light of the awakened… Quick get the Inner hall elder here, hurry!" The examiner turned to his subordinate and shouted.

His subordinate dashed off into the distance with incredible speed.

Hong Man Yuan who was standing beside Zhu Jiao smiled gleefully, he had thought the glow of light was a signal that his body was breaking down and at any moment his body would be destroyed… little did he know, that it was very much the opposite.

Zhu Jiao ignored the light, partially because he was so fixated shoving every strand of energy of the world into his dantian. He still had more energy of the world in his hands but his dantian only had that much space.

He smacked his thigh as he came to a realisation.

"If I can't fit more water in the container, all I need to do is to change to a bigger container!"

Zhu Jiao used his to focus on the Dantian in his abdomen, his eyes lit up blue once again as he used body morph to change the size of the Dantian, it went from the size of an egg to the size of a tennis ball, forcefully expanding it, it grew to the size of a soccer ball making his belly protrude out.

"Yes…. he's going to explode soon! I love it when a plan comes together!" Hong Man Yuan's eyes lit up widely as he watched on as the stomach of Zhu Jiao started to get bigger.

It reached the size of a watermelon before Zhu Jiao was satisfied, forcefully shoving more and more energy of the world into his dantian until it became jam packed full of it. Smiling, Zhu Jiao thought to himself,

"There we go! Now that it's full, I need to convert it into qi right? How do I do that?"

Zhu Jiao was facing a bigger problem, he didn't know how to convert the energy of the world into qi and it was all already in his dantian.

Thinking back to when he was younger, he remembered his mother using a pressure cooker to cook chicken soup, she would always tell him, for the essence to infuse in the soup it is better to cook the chicken soup in a pressure cooker.

Zhu Jiao nodded after he gathered his thoughts and decided to do what she thought of him, his eyes lit up red as he raised his body temperature to a blaze. This ability manifested when he was younger, after he had been stung by a bee, he started to get paranoid with different insects.

So in order to cope with the stress his body manifested the ability to raise his body temperature to the point where anything that flies past him gets burnt badly. Of course this caused him a bit of headache too, he couldn't hold his parents hands when that happened so he was forced to learn to control it.

Zhu Jiao focused the extreme blaze to his dantian as he started to heat it up. The energy of the world started to squirm as it tried to exit en mass only to realise that there was an invisible force holding them down preventing them from exiting.

Zhu Jiao used his to continually pressure the energy of the world while he focused his to keep the heat up.

Gradually, with the force of his and the heat of his he compressed the dantian within him back down to the size of a tennis ball, within the tennis ball the world energy that was previously in a gaseous state condensed into a liquid state that filled the dantian entirely.

If a cultivator had seen it first hand, he would be shocked at how pure the qi is. When a cultivator takes in the energy of the world and converts it into a strand of qi, it is inevitably tainted by the cultivator's own energy before it is sent into the dantian. But for Zhu Jiao's case, he converted the qi directly in his Dantian, therefore inevitably having pure qi.

Zhu Jiao once again used his to check on the progress of his Dantian and was shocked to find that his Dantian that was once filled with gas is now soaked with liquid instead. Sweat rolled down his brows as he started to panic.

"Oh shit! Oh shit! I overdone it, it's become liquid. OMFG. He looked around with a look of guilt as he tried to look for someone to affirm his actions"

In a panic he immediately turned off his as he used his to try to push the temperature down.

Zhu Jiao stood hunched over as he clutched on his stomach. A deep red glow started emanating from Zhu Jiao as it soared to the sky.

Hong Man Yuan's eyes lit up as he started to laugh madly at the sight of Zhu Jiao hunching over.

Lin Chen and Shi Tou watched in horror as they had the horrible feeling that something unimaginable was going to happen….
