"Alexina, the next meeting with the elders is tomorrow, and neither of them has returned." Ligo panicked next to Alexina who knelt down in front of an altar.
Some white candles were lit up on the altar, and in the center of the altar was a basin with water inside of it.
Kneeling with her head covered by a white veil. Her clothes too were all white. She had her hands placed together in front of her, and her eyes closed.
She looked calm and reserved in that position. Like she had no care in the world at all.
"Now I know you believe in them, but how about we just bring them both back here forcefully. I'm sure they are going to return eventually, but I just don't think they will be here before the meeting tomorrow." He paced up and down the place like a mad man.
"Aren't you even worried at all?" He wonders aloud and her lashes slowly opened, as she turned her head from the altar to look at him.
