In the half-light of the dawning twin suns, my fellow party members stirred from their own enchanted slumber within the confines of our shared dormitory. Catherine, with her ever-shifting shadows, was the first to rise, her presence as silent as a crypt. The air around her danced with the latent energy of her Shadow Puppets. To the left of her was Isabelle, the embodiment of arcane wisdom, as she produced energy based guns within her hands from a single thought, our eyes were still clouded with visions of the ethereal plane we passed through on our way to this Mythical Realm.
Together, we stood tall as we gathered our wits and readied our minds for the adventures that laid ahead of us. With the twin suns casting an aureate glow upon our path, we left the dorm room and ventured towards the entrance of Garcinia Institute. The sight brought a hushed awe upon our party as we stood before the grand façade known as Garcinia Institute, this prestigious StarShip Academy enraptured in the legends of the Alpha Children.
As we stood there it was as if the ancient stones of the building whispered of the potent serum, a concoction that was entwined deeply into the Mithrean tapestry. Our eyes, now wide with a mix of excitement and trepidation, looked upon each other - courageous gamers morphed into the avatars of the legendary heroes - ready to tread the same paths as those before us, and eager to forge tales of our own within these hallowed halls.
"Wow this place is incredible, I can't believe we are standing in front of Garcinia Institute," I said.
"Snap out of it, this Mysterious World board was created to resemble the institute it isn't really Garcinia Institute," said Isabella as we walked towards Garcinia Institute.
"I need everyone to make their way inside the university, and when you arrive inside you should hear a small explosion followed by smoke coming from one of the classrooms. I need everyone to head into one of the three classrooms, and once inside the real game will begin shortly," explained Game Master Sebastian.
"Alright Auroran Raiders let's make our way into the university," said Isabella as we ran into the building.
When we arrived we heard a small explosion coming from one of the classrooms on the first floor. We rushed into the smoke, and when the smoke cleared up we found ourselves standing in front of Professor Gabriella of the Lawrence House.
Professor Gabriella was Henry's science teacher. This is the classroom where the Alphus Formula was originally spilled. The real accident happened a very long time ago on a distant planet called Mithraeum.
"Hey everyone I think my friends might have dropped something dangerous," yelled Alyson as she waved her hands.
The whole class rushed to the back of the classroom to save the 3 sisters. Without thinking Alyson, and Henry rushed to the back of the classroom. Then they grabbed Daisy, the middle child who was unconscious. They then dragged her outside the classroom while they waited for the rest of their classmates to make it out safely.
"Attention class, can I have your attention please? The chemical that was spilled recently is harmless I can assure you. Everyone please take your seat so we can get back to class, and that means the three of you'll as well," said Professor Gabriella, and we took our seats in the back of the classroom as we waited to see how this would all play out.
No one really knows exactly how these events played out; we only have documents explaining what was seen and then it was pieced together.
"Hey Isabella, what are we supposed to do here in this scene?" I asked.
"Hey Ethan, keep it down, the rest of us are trying to learn," said Athena when she turned around in her chair.
"How do these Non Playable Characters know who we are?" I asked.
Right when I said that the class representative turned around in her chair, and she gave us a mean look.
"Of course class rep what I was thinking, I'll keep it down," I said, shaking my head quietly.
That's Rosalina of the Petaluma House; she sure has a nasty attitude, and to think she would later become the leader of the Alpha Squad. The lady sitting behind her is Athena of the Rosewood House, and to think she would be appointed by Rosalina to serve as her 2nd in command for the Alpha Squad. While we were waiting in the classroom, the first bell went off.
"Class can't be over already, it just started no more than 5 minutes ago," whispered Catherine.
"I agree we should ask around, and with any luck we might find some useful information," I replied while we were busy talking when one of the students approached us.
"Excuse me Catherine if you like you can ask Ms Gracie of the Marbuck House she might be able to give you some more information. A few of the students went to the nurses office earlier and I'm about to head there myself for a quick check up," explained Darius.
"Catherine, I need you, and Ethan to make your way to the nurse's office while I question our fellow classmates," said Isabella.
The two of us made our way to the nurse's office, and that's when we noticed a small group of students from our homeroom class. When the nurse had finished helping the other students we approached her with a few questions of our own.
"Excuse me, Ms Gracie, did you find anything wrong with the students?" I asked.
"I didn't see anything wrong with the student. If I could get a list of the chemicals that they were exposed to I might be able to do more for them," explained Ms Gracie as she walked out of her office, and when she returned she looked worried.
"What the matter, Ms Gracie?" Tristan asked.
"It's nothing, I just started to feel a little light headed myself. Why don't you head back to your homeroom for the moment," said Ms Gracie.
When we returned to the classroom we watched as the scene played out before us.
"The nurse gave us a clean bill of health. As for the fainting, she couldn't explain why it happened," explained Rosalina.
"I'll report everything that occurred today to the Dean. In the meantime I need everyone to return to their dorm rooms to rest up for a while," said Professor Gabriella.
Afterwards we returned to the dorms with the students and while the students rested up we took this time to familiarize ourselves with the campus.
