I was reborn in a world of magic as a child and I grew up wanting to be a wizard but didn't have the talent for it, so I turned towards necromancy which is supposed to be Dark magic but apparently it didn't exist in this world. I found out that there existed a creature called Death who would take care of souls and slowly guide them through dying and could only be seen by those who were dying on a battlefield or about to die. I think this Death prevents the process of necromancy or making undead but it seemed kind so I didn't want to hurt it so I went down a different path to turn myself into a lich by binding my soul to an object.
-
I became one of the most revolutionary theorists for magic by teaching them things that I remember from the modern world and incorporating them into spells like creating blue fire or the flames of Hell as they called it. I began a journey to wealth and got kidnapped many times which was quite fun. I laughed in their faces telling them no one would care if I died because I was no longer useful after revolutionizing magic. They probably even wanted to get rid of me. Even with all I did it took me years to create the first Phylactery an object that could contain the soul but still I had much to do, and I was already 52 years old and beginning to decay.
-
I still had to find ingredients that could help to loosen my soul from my vessel yet still keep it attached to the body. I begin to study dark energies to find a way to keep my body powered and able to move instead of simply having a mouthpiece and that's it. I couldn't experiment because I could not gather more of these resources and finally, I found a mage willing to help me put my soul into the box after 72 years of searching I was 94 years old and finally immortal. Thats when it appeared in front of my vessel.
-
A thin wraith made of smoke and black energy appeared in front of me its old, withered hands reached out stinking of decay and rot it said, "A rotten form broken yet alive without breath yet the heart beats what new magic could keep such a rotten thing alive I cannot stop your suffering poor thing let my hand free thy soul."
-
My mouth moving slowly and awkwardly slurring the words spoke "I chose this don't free me for now I am truly immortal like you and the gods let me keep within my study and bring to life magics never seen before."
-
The black rode covering most of the withered floating figure billowed and red light began to shine from its eyes as it said "Cursed you are freedom is nothing but a cage. Death is eternal I am nothing but a mouthpiece not immortal I die eventually only to rejoin the cycle. Freedom is false You do not belong you are broken let me fix the mistake. Eternity is naught but suffering freedom can only be found through the forgotten."
-
I pulled the malevolence out of my body and wrapped it around the figure and began to crush it saying, "Return to the pool from which you came let the rivers of death now break let me be the Undead King." I brought his soul closer to my Souls mouth on the box I used to create and absorbed the soul within it increasing my power to fight Death's pull on me.

"Why did you tell me if you want me dead?"

I begin to laugh the malevolence already corrupting my soul I began to wonder. Can I create new undead that don't require a Phylactery. I walked to the nearby village and heard the horrified screams as they saw a corpse begin walking toward them I then looked down and realized my skin was now taunt against my form making me look skeletal like a Draugar from Skyrim. I used the dark energy to grab a peasant and they immediately begin to corrode I looked on with interest as their soul struggled to escape letting out a piercing shriek causing those nearby to collapse.
-
I can now see souls so I pushed the soul back into the body and saw what I am now going to call reapers came to attack me a couple of them rushed towards me, but I simply consumed them. The body I forced the soul back into begin to rise with its rotten pocketed tropophobia inducing flesh wriggling as it ran towards a collapsed person when it bites them their flesh began to decay but unlike them it had no holes and looked like a regular zombie that hasn't been damaged. The newly formed zombie bit another person and began to consume them once it realized it couldn't infect them.
-
I shall call the Tropophobia ones the Carriers and the regular one a zombie I don't need to give a new name to something that already exists. I then began to experiment and trying to make more undead it was quite fun. I ripped the soul out of a woman, and it began to form a face and wispy body and endlessly shrieked causing the Experimental subjects to die so I had to send it away. I guess that one's a banshee from the folk tales. I began to merge two bodies and the souls began to fight until one devoured the other and then the body began to compact and looked like a buff zombie, I guess I can call it The Hunk.
-
I then merged two souls forcefully without letting one devour the other and what came out began to fade so I shoved more and more souls into it I think it got up to 12 until it finally stop dissipating this one showed intelligence and bowed before me with its 12 faces looking round the eyes completely black and wide open it was a pale translucent color with the hand that were thinners then it's body wriggling around each face had a different expression that constantly shifted.
-
I Then took a very dead body apart and begin to fuse it together to put a new soul in the body I had formed the body into a human sized dog which had only a skeleton the thing couldn't move well at first but quickly adapted and began to act like a guard dog sitting by my side as if I needed protection. Thats enough experimentation today I guess I can devour half the souls in this village and let the rest get infected by the 10 carriers I created in between. experimentations.
