Chereads / THE ANGER OF ASURA / Chapter 32 - Final Four

Chapter 32 - Final Four

Apart from Su Lin and Kallu, two cultivators who surprised Asura the most were Li Xin and Surya.

Li Xin was also a fairy from Xiao Sect like Su Lin, and there was always loud cheering whenever she fought, similar to Su Lin's fights. Though Asura had only talked to her once, he observed that she was not just talented but also had a brain. However, she had to act like a spoiled child. Asura didn't know why.

As for Surya, Asura had never talked to him. Not only Asura, but many cultivators didn't talk to Surya much. There were two reasons for this: first, he was ranked first in the Tempered Realm last year. Many cultivators were afraid of him. Second, Surya was an introvert who didn't like to talk to people much. However, nobody could underestimate his strength - everyone knew how powerful he was.

Asura watched Surya's matches and saw him easily defeat his opponents. So far, no tough opponents like Kallu or Su Lin had fought him yet, allowing him to advance rapidly.

On the other hand, Li Xin had to fight some hidden talents but managed to defeat them after some effort. Asura observed that she had yet to show her full strength.

Asura was a little curious about Li Xin. He thought she, Su Lin, and Surya had the highest chances of winning the Spiritual Realm tournament. As for himself, Asura felt he would lose to any of the three because he sensed they all had an ace up their sleeve which they had not revealed yet.

The matches continued and finally, four consistent contenders remained: Asura, Su Lin, Surya, and Li Xin. However, sunset arrived so the remaining matches were postponed till the next day.

Before that, the semi-final matches were announced. The first match would be Asura vs Li Xin and the second match would be Surya vs Su Lin.

All the contestants returned to their quarters to rest. Xie Ling stayed in his elder brother Asura's quarter since it was spacious enough for two people. The reason Xie Ling didn't go home was that their home was far away and it would take a long time to return. There was a chance she might miss part of her brother's match if she didn't arrive on time, something she couldn't afford. So she requested Asura, and he agreed because there was plenty of space in his quarter for her to use.

All four finalists rested well so that they could be in peak condition before their matches started and give their best performance to win the tournament.

The next morning, the contestants assembled for the much-anticipated semi-final matches. Asura and Li Xin stepped into the stage first to face off. They both knew this would be a tough battle.

The arena was packed with spectators, and to Asura's surprise, his mother was also present, sitting beside Xie Ling. This gave Asura more motivation to win the match.

However, Asura knew this would be a tough fight. The remaining cultivators were all at Stage 3 of the Spiritual Realm, except Asura who was at the second stage. They had the strength to challenge cultivators with higher cultivation stages than them. His chance of winning against them was less than 20%.

In fact, Asura had thought he would only make it to the top ten, but now he was in the semi-finals. And if he managed to win the match, it would be a miracle.

Suddenly, a beautiful voice sounded in Asura's ear: "Are you ready to fight? Don't disappoint me, I have high expectations for you."

Li Xin was smiling when said these but there was a proud look on her face which is hard to hide.

Asura took his fighting stance as his life's biggest match was about to start.
