Chapter 38 - Asura v/s Surya part-II

This time, Asura made the first move and punched Surya, but when his punch was about to land, Surya suddenly disappeared. Asura was baffled by this unexpected display of speed and thought to himself, "Too fast." He was completely surprised to discover Surya's incredible speed, which he hadn't anticipated.

Despite the surprise, Asura didn't give up and began chasing Surya like a shadow, yet he still couldn't land a punch on him. Suddenly, a punch hit Asura's abdomen, causing considerable pain. Surya was now on the offensive, easily landing punches on Asura.

Feeling a sense of panic, Asura quickly regained control of his emotions and started to observe his surroundings. He closed his eyes and waited for Surya to punch him again. When Surya made his move this time, Asura was able to sense it and successfully blocked the attack.

Surya complimented "Good, not anyone can detect my attack, Su Lin is one of them who can predict and looks like you can also do it, I also have a hunch that Kallu may also predict."

Asura grinned, panting slightly from the exertion. "I'm honored to be compared to Su Lin. It seems you and I are evenly matched in our abilities."

Surya smirked, circling Asura with a confident demeanor. "You're no ordinary opponent, Asura. But this fight is far from over."

Asura focused his energy, a determined look in his eyes. "I won't be defeated so easily. You may be fast, but I'll find a way to counter your speed."

Surya's smile widened. "I wouldn't expect anything less from someone who is able to come into the final. But let's see if you can handle my true power."

Asura's curiosity was piqued. "Your true power?"

Without saying a word, Surya's aura intensified, and he launched a barrage of lightning-fast punches. Asura's instincts kicked in, and he swiftly evaded each blow with precise movements, narrowly avoiding being hit.

"You're fast, but I can still keep up!" Asura declared, his confidence growing as he countered a few of Surya's punches.

Surya nodded, impressed. "Good reflexes. However, it's not just about speed. It's about reading your opponent's intentions."

Asura frowned, analyzing Surya's movements more closely. He attempted to predict Surya's attacks, but Surya started to punch randomly which made it challenging.

"You're right," Asura admitted. "Your movements are hard to read. But I won't back down!"

The two warriors continued their intense battle, exchanging powerful blows and countering each other's attacks. Asura's analytical mind was working overtime, trying to decipher Surya's patterns.

"You're getting better," Surya acknowledged, a hint of surprise in his voice. "Not many opponents can adapt so quickly."

Asura smiled. "I won't be defeated easily. I have my reasons for winning this fight."

Surya's expression turned serious. "And what reasons are those?"

"To protect those I care about," Asura replied, determination burning in his eyes. "I won't let anyone down."

As the battle raged on, their movements became a blur, and their strikes created shockwaves in the arena. Each fighter was pushing their limits, drawing upon their inner strength.

"You have great power," Surya said between breaths. "But you lack focus."

Asura gritted his teeth, realizing that Surya was right. His emotions were getting the better of him, affecting his concentration.

"You're correct," Asura admitted, his mind clearing. "I need to stay focused and composed."

Asura centered himself, channeling his energy, and his movements became more precise. He anticipated Surya's attacks better, finding openings to land his own blows.

Surya's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. "There you go. Now you're starting to understand."

The battle started to get heated, with both warriors displaying incredible skill and power. Asura's punches and movements became more refined, and he managed to land a few hits on Surya.

"You're stronger than I expected," Surya remarked, impressed by Asura's growth during the fight.

"And you're more formidable than I imagined," Asura replied, catching his breath but remaining alert.

The two fighters faced each other, a momentary pause in their intense clash. They exchanged a nod of respect before continuing their battle, pushing their limits in pursuit of victory.

When they were fighting some powerful cultivators were watching them. They were the principal of the Xiao sect, along with other high-ranking elders, closely observed the intense battle between Asura and Surya. Their eyes gleamed with intrigue and anticipation, recognizing the extraordinary potential in both fighters.

Addressing the elders, the principal spoke with a tone of wisdom, "These young talents, Asura, Surya, Su Lin, and Kallu, possess incredible abilities. They have the potential to surpass us old fellows one day. We must ensure that they are given every opportunity to flourish."

The elders nodded in agreement, understanding the significance of nurturing such promising individuals. "Indeed, they are the future pillars of our sect. After the tournament, we shall summon them and grant them access to the sect's most profound resources," one of the elders affirmed.

"We will provide them with guidance and support, fostering their growth and helping them unlock their true potential," another elder added.

The principal smiled, appreciating the elders' dedication to the future generation. "Let us show them that the Xiao sect values talent and ambition. They shall have access to all our secret techniques, ancient manuscripts, and the wisdom accumulated over countless generations. Nothing should hinder their progress."

As the intense battle between Asura and Surya continued, the principal and the elders were already planning for the young warriors' futures. They understood that by investing in the potential of these talented individuals, the Xiao sect would strengthen itself for generations to come.

Meanwhile, Asura and Surya fought on, unaware of the profound impact their duel would have on their destinies. Little did they know that beyond the arena, a path of growth and opportunity awaited them, leading them to heights they had never imagined.

Then Surya said, "I am about to use my Battle skill. You should also use yours; otherwise, you will die." Asura didn't neglect Surya's warning and immediately started gathering martial energy for his own Battle skill.

The clash between Asura's "Heaven Breaking Fist" and Surya's "Kangaroo Kick" Battle skills would shake the entire stage.
