In a dimly lighted office an old man sits behind his desk talking on the phone until a tall skinny man wearing all black enters the office interrupting the old man.
"Sir the young master is on the phone." He reported, the old man quickly end his other called and grabbed the other phone out of his secretary's hand.
"So now you have finally decided to contact us son?" The man started off, "look, I'm not calling because I want to be back in your schemes." The guy on the other side said.
"I'll send Mr. Han an address and I want you and mother to be there by 9:00 next week Saturday." The guys told him.
The old man chuckled, "what, are you afraid that you won't get to marry your little princess if her parents don't meet us."
"I'm capable of everything so nothing is going to change if you guys come or don't come." The guy claimed and without a word from the old man the guy ended the call.
"Hard headed as ever." The old man chuckled.
"Han, please prepare some gifts for my in-law's and inform my wife about the meeting."
"Yes sir!"

"Mommy!" Jay ran into Stephanie's arms as soon he saw them walk up to the house, "there's my little boy, did you enjoy your time with grandma and grandpa?"
"I had so much fun, uncle Mike and aunty Lia shook me to the park and bought me ice cream too." He rejoiced, "I'm glad you had fun buddy." Felix smiled.
"Thank you so much for watching over him mom" Stephanie smiled over at Felix's mother. "No worries, he is my grandson after all." She replied.
"Is the baby home waiting for us mommy?" Jay suddenly asked, Steph looked at him shocked and confused. "Wha- what are you talking about?!"
"Daddy said that he was going to get me a little sister or brother." He ratted Felix out, Steph looked over at him angrily demanding answers.
Felix nervously laughed as he looked at Jay, "that was supposed to be a secret between us Jay."
"Sorry." Jay covered his mouth.
Steph sighed as she rolled her eyes, she said goodbye Felix's and headed to the car. Felix waved bye to his mom and followed behind them.
As Stephanie buckled Jay into his car seat, Felix caught up to her. He could feel her annoyance radiating as she closed the door a bit harder than necessary. He took a deep breath, preparing himself for the conversation that was inevitable.
"Steph, wait," Felix called out as he moved to the passenger seat. "Can we talk for a minute?"
She turned to face him, arms crossed and eyes narrowed. "I'm no talking about this around Jay, let's talk about this later."
She entered the the and Felix followed behind.
The drive home was filled with a heavy silence, only occasionally broken by Jay's cheerful chatter about his day. Stephanie's grip on the steering wheel was tight, her knuckles white. Felix sat in the passenger seat, his eyes occasionally darting towards her, a mix of guilt and anxiety on his face.
When they finally pulled into the driveway, Stephanie turned off the engine and took a deep breath. "Jay, sweetheart, why don't you go inside and play with your toys for a bit? Mommy and Daddy need to talk."
Jay, sensing the tension, nodded obediently and scampered into the house. Once the door closed behind him, Stephanie turned to Felix, her eyes flashing with anger.
"Was this your plan all along?" "To get me pregnant and abandon me again!" she said, her voice low but intense.
"That's not it, I had no intention on getting you pregnant. I just wanted to stop crying when I dropped him off at mom." Felix added, "did the lie had to be that we were going to give him a sibling?" She questioned.
"Okay I was wrong, I won't do it again." "Forgive me this one time." He pleaded,
Steph sighed as she rolled her eyes. "Don't you ever mention anything that envols intimacy, or anything that will make him ask unpredictable questions." Felix smiled and nodded, he suddenly grabbed her hands and pulled her in for a kiss.
"You're just so sexy when you're angry." He teased.
Stephanie pulled back from the kiss, her eyes still narrowed but a slight smile tugging at her lips. "You always did know how to push my buttons," she said, shaking her head.

At NexGen Systems headquarters, David sat in his sleek, modern office, surrounded by the latest tech gadgets and displays. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of the bustling city below, the neon lights casting a soft glow across the room.
David leaned back in his ergonomic chair, reviewing the latest project proposals on his tablet. Just as he was about to dive into another document, a knock on the door broke his concentration.
"Come in," he called out, his eyes still on the screen.
The door opened, and Sarah, his assistant, walked in carrying a stack of folders. "David, here are the reports you asked for. Also, there's a meeting with the development team scheduled in fifteen minutes."
David glanced up and nodded. "Thanks, Sarah. Leave the reports on the desk. Anything urgent I need to know before the meeting?"
"Yes," Sarah replied, placing the folders neatly on his desk. "There's been a breakthrough in the QuantumTech project. The team needs your approval to move forward with the next phase."
David's interest piqued. "Finally, some good news. I'll review the details after the meeting. Anything else?"
As Shara was about to open her mouth suddenly David's phone started ringing, it was Mary. "You can leave now, tell me the rest later." He said as he answered the call turning in his chair.
"Hey baby, how are you doing?" He asked with a big smile on his face, "im bored, I want to go out!" Mary whined, "I told you is not safe for you to be outside right now." David remarked, "and why is that, you know I need fresh air!" She added.
"Okay then, how about I take you out all day tomorrow." He suggested, "Okay but, I meeting up with Stephanie in a few minutes." She revealed, "And why don't I know about this?" He asked.
"Well you know now," "you also know that I've been thinking about having a small gender reveal, I can't hide my pregnancy forever you know." She explained.
"Okay, be safe. If anything happens quickly call me!"
"Okay, I will. Love you, baby," Mary said before hanging up.
David sighed and put his phone down, his smile fading as he turned back to his desk.

At moon cafe, Mary sits at the back table drinking green tea waiting for Steph to show up.
After a few more minutes of waiting Steph finally showed up, and as soon as she saw Mary her jaw dropped.
She quickly sat down and looked at Mary for answers, "What chapter did i miss?!"
"Coffe?" Mary smiled sliding her a cup of americano.

"So…are you going to tell me how the hell this happened?!" Steph asked.
"Well long story short, after a week or two of moving in with David I found out I was pregnant." "That's why I left work, we didn't want anyone to know that we were pregnant or seeing each other." She explained.
"Well you did an amazing job in hiding it!" She added still in shock, "also we're engaged." Mary dropped another bombshell as she showed her hand.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS!" Steph gasped, Mary slightly smiled. "Way to keep me out of the light." She added, "I promise I didn't want to hide it from you, it's just that everything happened so quickly that I needed time to process." Mary stated.
"So how far are you?" Steph asked, "7 months now." Mary revealed.
"Wow, guess Felix didn't know anything either." "Cause he would've told me." She added.
"Definitely, his a certified yapper." Mary chuckled.
They laughed and caught up a bit more, reminiscing about old times and discussing future plans. The cozy ambiance of Moon Cafe provided the perfect backdrop for their conversation, with the soft hum of chatter and the clinking of cups creating a warm atmosphere.
"So, how's David handling all this?" Steph asked, leaning in with curiosity.
Mary sighed, taking a sip of her green tea. "He's been really supportive, but I can tell he's stressed. His work at NexGen Systems is demanding, and with everything going on, it's been tough."
Steph nodded sympathetically. "I can imagine. But it's great that you have each other. And a baby on the way! Do you know if it's a boy or a girl yet?"
"I'm glad you mentioned that, that's why I called you today." "To help me with the gender reveal!" She revealed.
"I get the honor of getting to know the gender first?!" Steph rejoiced, Mary smiled and nodded.
"I actually have a doctors appointment tomorrow, and I want you to be there to know the gender and help me with the gender reveal."
"How can I say no, I'll be honored to help!"

Later that evening Mary's pov:
As I sat in the living room watching tv David suddenly appeared behind me and kissed my neck, "you're back." I said.
"How did it go with Stephanie?" He asked, "great, she was very excited to hear the news." I replied.
"That's great to hear." He said as he unwrapped his arms around me, "oh she'll be at the appointment with us tomorrow, I want her to help with the gender reveal so she'll have to know the gender before us."
"That's great, I'm sure she'll go out with everything." He smiled.
