JIEGO
The yacht, as expected, was perfect. It was indeed the best choice for this monumental night. Tina and I arrived together, gaining glances from the employees. We were greeted with champagne as boarded. One of the staffs also asked for her bag to be kept inside the vaults.
Tina gave her a cheery smile.
“This is a really great idea of yours, love. The company’s really doing well and we haven’t had the chance to celebrate with the whole team.” – Tina said, sipping another glass of champagne. It was her second for the night.
“I know. We’ve all been busy. This is a great breather.”
“Who thought about this, anyway?”
I pointed to myself… which was half true. This night was a product of many minds, all mixed into one spectacle.
“Neat work.” – she said with a wink at me.
It was then that Atty. Sumayo butted in and whispered to my ear.
“Is it okay to borrow the man of the night, Miss Tina?” – the lawyer asked
“Sure.” – Tina said with a smile.
