The document for the marriage agreement was eleven pages long, which includes provisions such as me carrying the Sy name after marriage, my consent to childbearing, my 35% share of stocks in the company and my share of the company if something unfortunate happens to my spouse.
“35%? Isn’t this supposed to be 50-50 when it’s conjugal property?” – I asked
Atty. Sumayo’s lips turned down into a downward smile.
“hmmm, is that too small for you?”
