Daniel raised an eyebrow at his father, wondering what business he had with Mr. Thornton at THIS time.
"Ok, fine, I guess?" Daniel finally responded.
Nevertheless, he gave in only because he did not want to seem over eager to see someone that was not his mate. Especially his father!
"Ok, well, that settles that. Jada," his eyes slid towards her, and she was trying her hardest not to smile.
He said, "Let me get you back to Aubrianne's safely," then he turned to Daniel and said, "Get some rest, son, remember we have that meeting in the morning." Mr. Grey reminded Daniel.
"Oh, right, I forgot about that," Daniel says, and Mr. Grey voices, "Go get some rest! You will need it."
"Ok, ok," Daniel mutters, already disappointed. But he realized he was also distracted.
