"Sit." Gwenwa commanded, scooping a handful of oobja up before pouring it into a wooden bowl. It took her a moment, stumbling blindly around until she reached the spot she'd ask Ray'ven to make her way to.
A wave of relief went through her, and Ray'ven took a seat to where the woman gestured. "Thank you for helping me." Ray'ven said to her, feeling guilty as the woman moved less gracefully than before. She could not imagine what it must be like for her to suddenly lose her sight. "I suppose this time will be very different from the last."
The old woman nodded her head and spit into the herbs like before, crushing it beneath a mortar. Not soon after had she signaled for Ray'ven to turn her hands palm up. "Close your eyes and relax."
Ray'ven did as she was told, but not before glancing nervously at the concoction that would supposedly bring back memories that she wasn't even sure she wanted.
