Chapter 27 - [Zero] (3)

Ivan gazed up at the eye, which was the [Law Of Casualty] that been looking down on him all these years, Ivan's gaze flickered in a profound glimmer, as he stood up and gaited towards somewhere.

Zilla smiled knowingly and shrunk rapidly without making even the slightest of sounds, turned into some kind of parasitic bug and stuck on to Ivan's left arm's armoured glove before he even sensed her presence, which was impossible for the current Ivan, who had all of his powers sealed within him.

All his fights till date had honed his instincts to the extremes, and the meaning of the "extremes" was a bit different in Ivan's senses, as he had honed himself to the nigh-impossible level even before he left the [Unknown World], so considering that was in minimum of 2,000 years, now it was 240,116 years, comparing this, you can understand the meaning of "extreme" in Ivan's words.

And since she was too minute, he wouldn't be able to find her if didn't look for her intently.

With a straight aristocratic gait, Ivan slightly crouched, at that moment, disgusting fleshy noises sounded beneath him, as intestine-like fleshy muscles enveloped his legs, over his armoured clothes, and bulged. His toes had turned into claws with another clawed finger protruded out of his heel, they created a gap between them and the ground due to his now claws digging into the ground.

His tense leg muscles creaked at the strong pressure applied on them, they expanded and contracted, tightening by the second, when they contracted again to the extremes,

Ivan pushed off of [Hell]'s blackened ground.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM-!

The dust on the ground scattered for a split second, before they contracted to the centre and lunged up, creating a blackened trial of dust of the already disappeared Ivan.

★★★

The [Law Of Casualty] gazed down at the taboo existence that it had banished into the worlds of [Hell], trying to crawl back up towards it, of course, it was impossible considering the distance, but still, the Taboo existence broke through the barriers of [Hell] and ascended into the space, and he even reached the nearby [Main Asteroid Belt], but he couldn't push himself further, as his powers were sealed within him.

At that moment, when it thought he was going to be stuck in space,

Ivan flashed an annoyingly provocative smirk, dipped in the [Devoured] [Desire]s of the [Seven Deadly Sins]. With such strong emotions backing his smirk, it would annoy anything and everything, even Gods wouldn't be able to help themselves from getting annoyed, so the [Law Of Casualty] wasn't that different, as it had teleported him in front itself before even realising.

And for whatever reason, Ivan had his eyes closed and his smirk from earlier wasn't to be seen anywhere.

Now,

An ominous-looking black-haired handsome demon floated in middle of somewhere in space with his eyes closed, while his wrists and ankles were bound by golden, divine looking chains that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. He was 7 feet tall, with broad shoulders and a lean, muscular, chiselled, and ready for combat body, and he had "C"-shaped horns that protruded out from the corners of his forehead. While his body was adorned in hand-crafted, armoured clothes that were made from skins and hides of the demonic creatures he had hunted.

Of course, his horns had [Invisibility] casted on them, but for the [Law Of Casualty], things like that didn't matter, it merely had to "will" and it would be able to "see" whatever it wished to, with a single exception.

Realising it had fallen for the Taboo existence's provocation, the eye glared at Ivan,

It said.

If not in [Hell] where he had an opportunity to get stronger, there, in the middle of nowhere, he had no opportunities, so the eye stated as such, with these thoughts lingering in its consciousness.

Ivan abruptly remembered its words from before, 'You are an existence that mustn't exist, henceforth, I, the law of casualty, shall immure your existence in the gap of time, for eternity!' A reminiscence at which Ivan smirked.

"You said the exact same thing the last time, and yet here I am, back in front of you~" Ivan muttered as he slowly opened his eyes that were glimmering in arrogance. Although he said that, they weren't really "exactly the same," but it was similar, so don't fret the small details, because he muttered those words to provoke the eye.

The eye stated, feigning casualness, while hiding its agitation.

"I don't really care, so" Ivan muttered, of course, the current him really didn't care because he had dove deep into his abyss-like memory pool of his times with Nara, Freyr, Ove, Xod, Oscar, Loki, Ylva, Edda, Freya, Vigdis, Ingrid, Hjordis, Daghishat, and also Ingvar, Ivan's first son that died when Ivan was forced into a years long slumber.

Ivan gritted his teeth at these memories and continued, "Fuck off." He cursed at the eye, the current Ivan wasn't desperate to return to Earth, he just wanted to return to the [Unknown World], where he would find his loved ones.

At that moment, a platform manifested beneath Ivan's floating figure, on to which he descended as the gravitational pull manifested beneath him, it took merely seconds before he got used to the new feeling, and he gazed at the eye in subtle confusion clouding his glimmering gaze.

And in a flash, seven pitch-black coloured portals manifested around the platform, and seven unique [Demon King] ranked demons walked out of them, with unfocused eyes.

They were the previous rulers of the [Seven Deadly Sins], and it wasn't just one of each, but hundreds of each, walked out of portals and abruptly, a flash of realization stuck Ivan, who gazed at the approaching army of demons, with smirk on his face.

It had been really been a long time since he faced them, he had killed them without devouring a few times, so he knew almost everything about them, but still, it was a new challenge for him, who was facing an army of hostile, mindless, higher ranked demons.

'Authority Of The Mana Parasite' Ivan commanded the [Chaos] in him, which he had made into his [Authority]. The ability to [Devour] merged within his very [Chaos] attributed [Magic Power] had turned into a parasitic [Authority], which Ivan had named [The Authority Of The Mana Parasite].

At his command, disgustingly familiar sounds of intestine-like fleshy muscles enveloping him sounded, this time, his forearms were enveloped as the ends of which sharpened, hardened, and also blackened in the process, forming 2 foot long blades from his elbows, stretched out, longer than his palms even when they are open.

With an irresistible, excitement dipped, laughter escaping his mouth, Ivan zoomed towards the demons, and slashed horizontally, widely, intentionally leaving himself open.

Heads of the first three unique demons were split in half due to Ivan's swing, mucus, snot, dark purple blood, and chunks of flesh slid off of their split faces, but Ivan, who had grown used to such, gore and trauma enticing scenes, ignored them and continued to swing his arms, with a smirk on his face.
