Chapter 30 - [To do list]

If not Ivan becoming one with his mind, body, and soul, he would have literally died due to the seal on all of his strength.

'My muscles would have detached from my bones, veins would have loosened, blood flow would have been nearly stopped, my body would have crushed under its own weight, my bones would have detached from each other, the pressure required for my heart to pump blood would have been too much for my body to handle....'

"All in all, I would have died a pathetic and a most miserable death." Ivan concluded, gazing at his stats after analysing how they affected his body.

He physically moved his hands to feel the interface but his hands passed through the system window as if it physically didn't exist, but when he willed to hold it, he was able to, though it was still ethereal, the system moved as if a large enough card was held in his hand.

"How intriguing."

[Absolute Command] Ivan muttered in an unexplainable, indescribable series of words that managed to incite runes mid-air, as an extremely delicate, fragile looking greenish ethereal orb manifested above Ivan's right index finger.

'This couldn't be sealed, I guess.....' Ivan pondered. It was an [Authority] exclusive to him as its creator, since it was an [Authority] of the two-----Dragon and Demon-----traits of his being combined into one, it wasn't considered as some other power, instead it was considered to a part of his, Ivan's [Character] and wasn't sealed, since it wasn't even detected in the first place.

Now that he had confirmed his state, which had nothing except for the [Absolute Command] as an usable power, Ivan planned to get stronger, which was only natural, since he wanted to be happy,

And survive.

'To do list: First: Gather info. Second: Get stronger. Third: Find a suitable place to teleport the [Reverse Tower]. Forth: Create a safe place for my family. Fifth: Live a leisure, lazy life among the laughs of my family. And finally, sixth: If, if, and only if, find my family here, on Earth..... If they are alive.' Ivan thought.

"Second and third.... I have to at least return to my previous strength if I want to have enough power to teleport "them" and the tower. Fourth and fifth.... Require for me to recover my strength, no matter what. If it's for them then, I will, no matter what." Muttered Ivan, his hands clenched into fists, involuntarily.

'So, for the first....' Ivan muttered and his gaze perfectly landed on the body of a white-haired man laying on the ground.

*

A few minutes later, when the fog had thickened considerably, the body of a white-haired man twitched.

"GASP-! Hic....!" With an abrupt jolt, Keith Frazier woke up.

'Disgusting....' The voice he heard before he lost consciousness resounded in his mind, making him shudder slightly. He gazed around to understand his terrain and noticed a campfire in front of him, with an eccentrically royal looking, wooden chair placed on the opposite side.

"Your majesty... Death." A mumble sounded from a distance, which perked up Keith's ears.

RUSTLE-!

He stood up, dusted off his clothes as he followed the directions of the mumble, upon peering through a dense pile of dry sticks, he noticed a shackled, charming black-haired man with glimmering green eyes, gazing down coldly at a pair of women. A grey-eyed and grey-haired alluring, fair skinned woman was seen kneeling in front of the man with a look a that begged to get punished for the sin she had committed, while another dark skinned woman with red hair and crimson eyes was gazing at the same man with a playful smile on her face, even though she too was kneeling.

"!!!!!" Keith felt chills run down his spine when he felt the involuntarily oozed aura of the women kneeling in front of the man, who sat unaffected.

His gaze habitually moved up above the man's head, where [Zero] title continued to float.

"You are awake." The man abruptly spoke in a voice that oozed majesty, Keith, who had concealed his presence to the best of his abilities, shuddered as he stepped forward, making way towards them through the crunching sounds of the dried up leaves and twigs.

"Hello, thanks for saving me back there." Keith hid his fluster and confidently spoke up, thanking the man that had saved him when he was unconscious. He was used to conversing with the Gods, he wouldn't be flustered to talk just because he was slightly surprised.

'It's hard to believe that somebody saved a "deadweight" even after the world has taken a turn for the worst....' Keith thought. Yes, he was familiar with a world like that, where the benefits and greed clouded the sights of the people, so he was thankful for whoever saved him for whatever reason.

"It is alright." The man replied, sophisticatedly.

'I know of a King when I see one, alright.....' Keith thought, the suffocating, kind, yet profound ambiance that surrounded the green-eyed man spoke volumes, though Keith's aura sense was saying that the man was weakest among them, he didn't dare underestimate him, fully knowing how senses can be deceiving.

"This is Nu, and she is....Zilla." The green-eyed man, with dark coloured bandages covering him neck to toe, introduced his companions.

'The scent of blood is thick....' Keith thought, as a strangely intriguing scent that was clouded by the dense scent of blood assaulted his nostrils. Of course, he could tell that the scent of blood was from the man, and not from the women he had just introduced.

"It is an honour to be personally introduced by Your Majesty." The woman introduced as Nu muttered under her breath, honouring her King, which was respected back by her King, who nodded his head slightly.

'Huu.....' Keith exhaled sharply at the chill around his heart, this was what every subject serving under an authority would expect, a respect for the respect given, he had seen a King, a Queen, and a lot of nobles with their authorities clouding their heads, but the King in front of him was different, he was someone who knew how to rule, and how to respect his subjects.

Only then did Keith's gaze notice the noble posture of the man, which oozed elegance and grace even though he was merely sitting on a tree stump, it felt like him sitting on the stump gave it another profound meaning for the stump's existence itself, he also felt like he wasn't exaggerating even a bit when he thought that.

'He hadn't introduced himself.....' Keith finally realised, and

"I am Keith Frazier, Your Majesty. It is an honour to be in Your Majesty's presence." Keith kneeled with his right knee on the ground, while his right fist on his chest, he would have kowtowed, but his habits as a noble fixed him as he greeted with an etiquette of a noble.

'Wha..... What happened.....' Keith wondered inwardly, no, what he didn't feel wrong, he was merely..... dumbfounded.

"Sir Frazier, pleased to make your acquaintance." The King replied, in response to which----pride filled heart of Keith Frazier Ambergard----subconsciously lowered his head a bit more, displaying his respect to the crown, no, the King himself.

He had purposefully left out the name of his household due to it not existing here, but when he thought about it, neither an Empire, nor a Kingdom, nor any other noble household existed here,

Yet

There existed a King.

A King, whose honour bound name was yet to be known.
