Chapter 33 - [Aerith]

"Fuck....." Keith cursed under his breath as he was once again reminded of what he was fighting for. He was fighting for his own selfish reasons and he wasn't ashamed of that fact; he wanted to save as many as possible while culling however many required to achieve what he wanted with those he deemed important around him, but he didn't understand that those he deemed important, deemed important to save as many lives as they could even if it meant sacrificing themselves.

'They are the Gods, the protectors chosen by the [System].....' Keith muttered inwardly as a dead smile crept on his face.

"Now, aren't I one too? Haha, ha...." A hollow chuckle escaped his mouth as he muttered those words upon remembering what was described in his [Title] [Returnee], his artic blue eyes darkened for a split second, but he managed to shake off those feelings as he rushed towards the Gate.

He smiled and thanked the old man, whose concerned gaze was directed at him, since it took him merely a few seconds, not many among the crowd were dissatisfied and a minute and a half seemed more than enough time for all of them to enter.

He was thankful, but that was it, he wasn't hesitant to use the opportunity granted to him, though his thoughts changed, it was only a by a bit, as his thought process was still stuck on; 'I have to sacrifice a few to save many' so he unhesitantly jumped into the Gate.

But, his ambience and the King's, who had similarly entered the Gate unhesitantly, had a stark contrast, while the King's ambience displayed his thanks and respect for their decision, Keith's oozed arrogance and ignorance, that garnered him the scorn of the people that gave way for him to enter.

On the [Third World Of Aerith].

The concluded Day had arrived. Today, the expected final Gate of the planet previously known as Earth would open, though it was merely another, but a final, Gate, it had garnered the attention of the whole of Aerith.

The [Third World Of Aerith] as called by the [System] was originally just [Aerith] which was known as "Truth" in the world's imperial language.

In this not-so-peaceful world; Emperors, Empresses, Kings, Queens, Dukes, Duchesses, Marquises, Marchionesses, Counts, Countesses, Viscounts, Viscountesses, Barons, Baronesses, Knights, Dames, Lords, Ladies, Commoners, and slaves existed. The hierarchy of the highest noble or the strongest existence, only those kinds of beings had a say in any matter, as such ever-changing rules covered this chaotic world with a name of peace, one day a [System] manifested into existence, bringing forth the greatest of the misfortunes upon the not-so-peaceful world, even changing the entirety of the "aerith" of their world.

Later, a year and two months ago, humans from the other world began to walk into their world, just like the monsters that invaded their world. Though reluctant, according to the human natural nature of adaptation, they adapted to the new changes, but the noble hierarchy still existed as the humans of the other world, who had no say in the matter, began adjusting to their now changed lifestyles.

They then began to get stronger at an unbelievable rate, which the top hierarchies didn't like at first, but later, since the opportunity presented by the [System] had been fair, just like the humans from the other world, they too had no choice but to accept the humans from the other world and adapt to the new changes while growing stronger.

Now, in a noble household.

The head of the household, or a silhouette of the head of the household could be seen setting behind his office desk, while blonde haired silhouettes of his twin sons stood a few steps away from the desk, standing solemnly as if they were standing in front of a lord they served instead of a father, waiting for the command their father wanted to give and the twin wanted to obey.

"Today is the day "he" will arrive." The father stated in utmost certainty.

""Yes, father!"" The twin nodded in unison, that looked as if the other was merely a mirror of another, which would have been considered to true if not for their not-so-similar eye colours.

Though all three of them held a hint of melancholy in their tone, their certain gazes vanquished the glum silent echo that wanted devour them.

"You are to bring "him" home at sight, only "his" PResence can give your mother and my wife the will to fight against the [Poises Drain] disease." The father commanded as a squeak escaped his dry throat, but his sons understood his concerns and were forced to swallow dry breaths, due to the sadness they wanted to hide.

Though the reason voiced wasn't the only reason for their search for "him," since they wanted to meet "him" either way, they didn't care what the voiced reason was.

""Yes, father!"" They replied in unison again, and disappeared as soon they noticed their father waved his hand, dismissing them.

"Haaa....." A painful sigh escaped the household head's throat, as he reminisced about his another son that had abruptly disappeared on the day, the "Rot" engulfed their home planet.

***

In a cliff-edge continent named the [Holy Empire].

With a [Title] [Seer Of The White] displayed atop her head, a Goddess, and a Saintess of the [Third World Of Aerith] walked across a pristine white dyed corridor with elegance dyeing each of her gentle steps while her world warming ambience made those around her bow in absolute respect, which she responded with an ever-plastered warm smile as she walked towards a cliff-edge stage, to announce the revelation she "read" to the entirety of the [Third World Of Aerith].

Walking towards the cliff-edge that seemed to end at the dense clouds; a pristine white, runes filled stage came into sight as Jasmine Tyler, the Saintess, played with her golden [Divinity] that dyed everything around her in warmth, as the grass blanketed her surroundings brimmed with life with each of her steps, gentle fragrance filled flowers bloomed, as if to add colour to the previously greenery blanketed cliff's path.

Birds flitting around, almost the entirety of the [Holy Empire] began to slowly gather as if they had been called upon, even though their numbers were nearly uncountable, their numbered presence didn't seemed to sophisticate the skies that seemed to hang an artistically built-----cone shaped domes filled towers, toweringly circled around the already towering-----[Holy Temple], which was merely a single pristine white brobdingnagian building that seemed to be sizing, at least, an well-developed city.

They, the four-winged and twin tailed, different coloured birds, soon nested upon the [Holy Temple] while a few flitted around the Saintess, displaying her as something divine, that descended on their pitiful world after taking pity on them.

Soon after she reached the centre of the stage, bare-footed, her divinity surged out, spiralling around her as she was lifted off the ground, while her divinity that staired up to the heavens continued to remain on the stage too.

Upon ascending into the skies, Jasmine Tyler stared down at the world and joined her hands, as if offering her prayers to the universe; a gentle yet dense golden hue enveloped her well endowed, curvy body, before a golden ripple shot out from the thump of her warm heart.

The ripple enveloped the world as warmth spread across the world with its population looking up at the ever-awe-inspiring sight of warmth that seemed to deflect all the darkest, murkiest, and ugliest parts of the human nature.

[The world of Aerith has been granted upon another blessing by the [Watchers Of The Universe] and the [Creator Of The Sovereigns and The Gods]; The world shall look up at the birth of a [God] that is said to be the strongest. This [God] is revered as the [Kindest] yet the most [Dangerous] [God] to ever exist. By the read revelation, we, the 13 Gods, shall also await and rejoice upon the descent of the new [God]!]

And as always, the Saintess's, the Goddess's presence that spread across warmth, disappeared after announcing the revelation to the entirety of the world of Aerith.
